Report of S365 Lamborghini are looking to support a 2 car entry in World Challenge America
Mercedes are definitely going to enter, as part of the great world challenge group of series, Audi are undecided... but keen... Add in that potential for a mclaren entry, things are looking interesting at least All good signs? Hoping for 18-22 cars for 2019 That S365 article: https://sportscar365.com/sro/blancpa...rld-challenge/ |

BHA/Hyundai seems to be ditching PWC-TCR in favour of the hobbled IMSA class.

Seems a huge loss for IMSA (as their GTD champs won't be defending their title) but I can't help thinking they might do a 'Magnus' and come back in 2020.
Good for World Challenge though. |

I think there's a better chance pulling the team creates a magical heart grows 3 sizes at Christmas and all the Whole down in Whoville convince the Grinch to let them stay moment and we see IMSA decide to amend his rating again

GTD will be just fine in 2019. Sprint series I expect will be a hit. As far as the endurance races go, a grid in GTD of about 15 cars at Daytona and Sebring is all you really need anyway.

How many cars of each class are running? I saw a few mentions about the sequential vs DSG racing but nothing about exactly what the problems were. It appeared that different tracks posed challenges to each but I didn't see anything that made it seem like a definitive problem to have one over the other

The DSG box is exactly the same gearbox one you can get in a road going Golf GTI. Whereas the sequential is a proper racing gearbox about 15kg less then the DSG Box. |

PWC: 2019
GMG Racing have a brand new Porsche GT3
And looks like they could well be running a AMG GT3 for Brett Curtis |

Jared Andretti will race for a Andretti Autosport in GT4 Sprint with a Mclaren 570s GT4
Interesting to see such a big team dipping into a lower tier. Seems like its likely a build up to something bigger maybe? |
