Doesn't take Kyle long to get to the front from P40 - not really much of a challenge for him, his car has such an advantage over 95% of the field...

Agree. Great race. Rode with Chase again on the radio the whole race.
Cool as a cucumber after losing 5 or 6 spots on the last pit. Kept his head down and got a few of them back.18 years old! Gonna be fun watching his career. Hope post tech goes well. |

Another Cup drivers' runaway for the Cali race. Kyle Larson is pretty good, me thinks. Chase gets the NW "regular" runner up spot. Both kids should have many Cup wins between them over the next couple of decades. Many more than "sliced bread" I feel.

First series win for the young Elliott. The first of a bunch for Chase in the big series, I think.

That was an amazing win. What's most impressive was that outside pass.
Seeing Cindy and Bill in the winners circle celebration was really awesome. A lot of the drivers congratulated him as well . That tells me he is one of the good guys in the garage, which goes a long way in this sport. That race gets saved and locked on the DVR . |

I'm proud of the drivers overall in this series. I know there's several Cup drivers who tend to spoil the party, but the field of NNS regulars has really improved compared to where we were between 2006-2010.

Well, it was expected sooner rather than later, JH. And that was a late Friday night post after 9 holes and a whole lotta cheap beer leftover from Sebring.

Chase has been racing and beating guys twice his age for a good while now. That was damn impressive tonight though, winning his first time out at Darlington and now his second in a row. Awesome stuff!

Yep! Chase Elliott is FOR REAL!!! This kid just might be the most talented young driver, of the VERY talented crop of young drivers that has come up in the last couple of years! I see him as a future multi Sprint Cup Champio! This kid is DAMN GOOD!

Just like Rusty Wallace said on the broadcast:
" Rick Hendrick has to be very pleased". I think we are witnessing the future successor of Jeff Gordon right before our eyes. Good times for the Elliott clan. God willing, hope they last many years. |
