Mosport67 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Just back from the track. Great day there. It is far better there than on TV. The changes in elevation are remarkable.

Good racing right to the end. No full course cautions. I taped it so we can watch the TV coverage later.

Really good crowd too. I think the largest at Mosport in quite a few years. There were some questions about how a Labour Day weekend race would work. I think it turned out great.

I was right about the Corvette 1-2 but it was really close.

I'm too tired atm to write much more, but I'd like to second the sentiment that it was an excellent race to watch at the track. Lovely weather when the sun was out, and I would say that from my perspective at Turn 5 (no screen, could we please get one Don?) that it was by far the easiest Mosport ALMS race to follow. Great dices in three of the four classes, and I could always keep track of who was on what lap etc. What fun!

We watched at 5 as well and then walked up to the top of 3 for the end.

Glad you enjoyed it as well.

I was also there, watched the entire race from inside turn 1. For the 5th year in a row this has been an awesome experience.

The above is only my own opinion and does not imply anything negative. The post can be deleted from the board.
IMSA apparently didn't agree at all, per DSC, and has done an immediate adjustment to the restrictor on the Saleen, also the Viper, which I guess when you look at them adjusting the Viper back at least shows they are consistant....

Thanks! I actually live in the US, but I am Russian, I stay connected, and if I were a race car driver I guess I would have this flag next to my name. I drove to Mosport to watch the race.

Just to wrap up the race weekend, here is my race report:

Absolutely fantastic race, great job to Butch Leitzinger, Dyson Racing Team, Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta, Terry Borcheller, Clint Field, Intersport, Jorg Bergmeister and Patrick Long, and Petersen / White Lightning.

Weaver was pushing on the Audi to force into the pit entrance, and the Audi (I think it was Werner?) pushed back and that then left Weaver off line and braking on marbles. Can't believe with Dyson luck that he barely kissed tire wall with the nose and went on the recover and win.

Speaking of Dyson 'luck,' the 20 car came in for first stop and outside tire changer's air tank for air gun was not turned on. This just seems like a procedure you would have worked out on day one, years ago......

And welcome Philip!

regarding GT1 . i think the fastest lap was done by the MC12 .. and both the MC12 and the Saleen had faster fastest laps compared to the Corvettes. . i know the Saleen received bigger restrictors and aero . what about the MC12 . how penalized is it now ?? .compared to a FIA GT car
