N I Tram should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
F3000 has never had a full 26-car grid in Zsolt's era. He's sometimes been near the back, but has never had the threadt of not qualifying.

Honestly, get your Autosports out!

I seem to remember the F3000 race (won by Bourdais) started off a bit damp, but then the F3 drivers said the track was slippy for their race because of the F1 rubber after qualifying. The best F3000 lap was still 3-4 secs faster than Sato's though.

I don`t think anyone here is suggesting Zsolt is the best or worst pay driver ever, he is slow, of that there is no doubt but to be fair he brings the car home in one piece and that more than paid off in the US, much to my delight i might add, but lets be honest, does anyone think he will be back next year, i doubt it.

No, he shouldn't be, he should do sportscars or something, seeing as he's good at bringing the car home. I have to agree with someone before about Taki Inoue not being particularly special!

Taki, Pedro Chaves, Mimmo Schiattarela, Claudio Langes, all bad, the late 80`s early 90`s was full of them wasn`t it, Paulo Barilla was another one, wasn`t he something to do with Pasta?

This ones a toughy.

I think Yoong has to be in amongst the worst, Gaston Matzercane (spelling) was pretty poor, Zolt Baumgardner is pretty poor too. There where some pretty poor 1 time racers in the eighties but their names escape me

The Barilla brand is one of the most famous pasta names in Italy and beyond. Paulo wasn't actually too bad at first, but he fell apart after a huge crash (at Eau Rouge I believe). Of the names cds suggests Langes was probably the worst - the car was awful but Moreno was always much faster.

Great fact about Mazzacane - in Italian his name literally means 'dog-killer'. He was once sportscar team-mate to Giovanni Lavaggi, whose last name literally means 'carwash' (maybe a Mr Lavaggi invented the device, or popularised it in Italy?)
