I'm way way behind but plus side of Peacock being useless they don't actually care what I watch, never get what I've saved on front page, just the same watch our garbage TV. Oh and the Nic Cage vampire movie isn't even bad funny, it's just BAD BAD BAD, wouldn't watch it on a plane with nothing else

Sucks for Linus, he was running decent and the loss of the vent seemed to send him backwards until the wall. Track was CRAZY dirty off line, did not realize how much the Firestones degrade. Minimal yellow seems to actually be a bad thing there for racing, can't pass it you can't get off line without serious penalty. But overall a decent race it seemed

Race Result
The race was nothing like the last two years, with no caution fest, though it was red flagged because of the carnage at the re-start, after Linus Lundqvist's excursion into the tyre barrier brought out the third yellow. We will have to wait until next season's finale to find out if the new layout is an improvement, or not. Another good result for Honda. |

What a docile race, completely unexpected.

Palou sliding out of each corner on the last few laps. Brilliant.
And Stingy pummeled ten drivers into the dust. |

No, I think Palou has won some races.
Oh, Stingy? 16th, albeit not running, in the first race is technically his best result. |

For the actual replay on Peacock, my favorite is when it breaks into the race for an ad that is REALLY embarrassing if children are present and doesn't stop the actual feed so you have to rewind the coverage while trying to explain to your kid what they just saw. Quote:

Congrats to Kirkwood. Not the most exciting show, but decent.
Not sure Scotty Mac's team had the best strategy; not pitting on the first FCY and I think I heard they went without the cool suit (WHAT?). At least they remembered his ear buds. Good work, Will Power!! |

An interesting post race interview with Scotty Mac, especially on the restarts.

I agree that a no-overtake line could help to make restarts cleaner.

Would it? Not sure having the restart in a tighter, can't see down the track area would be any different. Restarts on a tight circuit suck, it's just a fact of life, unless they move it to the bridge and no passing before line but they won't do that
