Where do we start...
Hansen blew engine in practice, fixed in time for Superprix qualifying to end up third. Hill broke clutch and was out of action until Superprix qualifying, O Donovan broke steering, as did Bob Gooding, Bellerby suffered a puncture and Chris Langley had no end of transmission problems. Evans fastest but sat out final and you'll never guess who fended off O'Donovan and Procter before Division 1 Final was red flagged when Bellerby got stuck on tyres at the Hairpin? - A certain Tony Bardy in the 306 who did even better in the re-run, clearing off to take victory ahead of Ollie and Kev with Tony Bell in 4th. Mad Mark's 6th place finish was enough to give him the ROC by one point. Allan Tapscott won the Supernational ahead of Jamie Lea and Ben Power. Andrew Jordan fastest for tomorrow's Superprix heats, ahead of Evans, Hansen, Doran, Bellerby, OOD, Hill, Bardy, Frode Holte, Manning, Jesperson and Mundy. |

Thanks for the update!
Keep us people who are not there, informed when you can! It's not nice at all when you attend most rallycross events, only to miss the grand finale due to work! |

Not been back long but what an excellent event by PSM / DDMC and everyone else involved in this event being run.
Another good day being involved with David Ewin and his lads (which we make a good team) on looking after his car goes very well compared to the power of the hords of pug 205's A win yesterday and some good placings over the two days is a good result for him and the team. hopefully the new engine next year with more power and higher results. Good to meet the Blue Chip performance team over the weekend Although the Supercars are the main attraction of this event I have to say I mostly enjoyed the supernationals as those Volvos are just something else. I am glad Don Shannon has one over here but it would be good to see more here and the donuts the white one did was mint. I seen the incident where Andrew Jordan went off on the A final but he was on the right handside right close to the grass. His father put in a protest and I have to say if this is what hes like when his son is involved in a racing incident then he will need a pile of protest forms for next years BTCC I hope that PSM and DDMC get stage a European round at Croft in the future as they bloody well deserve it and its good to see the Europeans across here as we where chatting to a few Cant wait for next year now Last edited by M.Lowe; 4 Nov 2007 at 18:16. |

Just got back, man that carpark was bloody crazy!!!! More organization required in the carpark but apart from that the weekend was fantastic. Cant believe how many cars broke down over the weekend but I guess thats rallycross for you. Shannon got really really close to rolling his volvo and somehow saved it. Classic crash with the mini's, one which Im sure I wont forget.

Ollie O'D is one of the top lads you could ever meet as we had a little chat with him today.
I said to him buy that Saab will you for next year and he said the Peugeot is excellent and so is the Saab but I would love to see that in Yellow over here next year Well done to Tony Bardy too on his rallycross comeback in Ollie's car. We just need Mark Rennison to come out of retirement now |

Thought I'd posted this already but can't find it so must not have!
Superprix Result (6 Laps) 1 Hansen 4:16.2 2 Evans 4:18.9 3 Procter 4:21.5 4 O Donovan 4:24.3 5 Manning 4:30.4 6 'Mad Mark' 4:35.5 7 D Binks 4:38.8 8 Bob Gooding 4:58.5 DNF Tony Bardy (steering Lap 5) DNF Pat Doran (bodywork damage Lap 4) It may have been a different story if it was to have run another lap as Hansen's Citroen blew a tyre as he took the flag which promptly sent him spinning out and it wrecked the rear bodywork. Hansen had another drama today when the oil cooler burst a pipe and it spewed all the oil out as he headed up for his semi final. The Citroen team managed to fix it just in time to allow him to take his place on the grid. Bellerby's Saab blew the engine in his semi final and the team raced against time to fit a new one, which they did, only ten minutes too late for him to make the start so Bob Gooding took his place in the fading light. Jordan, who had broken his gearbox in heat one but fitted a four speed replacement, went off in the semi final after a coming together with Bellerby which bent the roll cage on the Focus and snapped a seat mounting bar so he was out and others to suffer problems in the heats were: Steve Hill - broken clutch in heat one, tried to make 'repechage' but it failed on the line Tony Bell - engine and turbo problems in heats Frode Holte - turbo problems in semi finals Morten Jesperson - gearbox failure in heats Kevin McCann - not sure what Scandinavians in Volvos dominated the Super National class with Torleif Rafoss taking victory ahead of Stein Egil Jenssen after early leader Ola Fraushaug punctured and Herbjorn Haugh beached his Merc. John Collins took third in the Tigra but the expected challenge from Dave Bellerby failed to materialise when he struck problems with suspension and transmission in the heats. All in all, a great day, a good sized crowd and fantastic weather, well done to all concerned. |

Information please
Let's hope Peter Stott is updating his website(s) soon!
An event like this should have more updates a day on it's website. The race results from yesterday? Today ? Pictures from yesterday? Today ? Information about the drivers? Today ? Last edited by mivec; 4 Nov 2007 at 19:13. |

I dont know whether Gooding has another car or if its rumours only time will tell
Andrew Jordans father was talking to Will Gollop saying he was going to put an appeal in while will just nodded and was getting on with the job to try and fix the Focus |

Jordon set the fastest lap time on the saturday and I know for a fact he was the fastest through the chicane. I was stood up against the fence when he set that time and man alive that was scary as they actually are coming straight towards you just before they turn in. These cars are bloody spectacular and we need more of these meetings with full entries.
