I took this shot of Robbie Coleman and Peter Walsh with their wheels interlocked. It's from the first corner of the first of 2 Formula Ireland races at Mondello Park on 25/8/02. Both drivers made through the corner safely.

This was taken with my trusty $250 Olympus digital (which has since broken) during the final Indy Lights race at Fontana, CA in 2001, with Dan Wheldon following closely behind Townsend Bell and running away from the pack. I actually ended up on the same flight as Townsend from LAX to Toronto for the CART race and he told me Wheldon kept giving him lovetaps during that race!

I wouldn't be posting this one either but for CART cancelling Road America for the forseeable future. I was lucky enough to be able to trek out to that beautiful track last year. Here is a pic of Patrick Carpentier going into Turn 6:

I'm gonna cheat here... 'cause it's my fave !
This one was taken of me at Oulton Park in Aug 2000... the photographer is amateur, however he has an array of motorsport photos, of very high quality.. out of all my le mans pictures i've always had a soft spot for this one. it was taken at about 3.50pm on the sunday on the run down to the esses. as you can guess by the time, there wasn't a soul around...everyone, fans and all the other photographers...had gathered on the main straight. i always feel pleased i got such a nice picture at such a late point in the race.

This is my current favorite amongst the ones I've taken. Its taken a long time but I'm starting to get my panning right. This is Mark Skaife in a v8 Holden Commodore at Pukekohe NZ Nov '03 taken on a Pentax z1 with a sigma 400 mm
Ir was taken at 1/30th of a second at about f16 I think |

tantalised, that's a very good pic.Blurred background to give sense of speed (also not distracting)The car is very nearly sharp (but can't quite read driver name or writing at bottom of car)and the position is spot on too (slightly more track to front)
This is just my humble opinion and the sort of pic I like. I'm no expert so feel free to disagree. |

This is my best pic so far ( sorry it's not 4 wheels) Criticism: I've chopped the wheels off.
