do you think maybe teams will sack off their commitments to european series such as gt4 or the gt world challenge and go back to concentrate on national series?

But with VLN and the new proposed GT3-Collaboration within the DTM-package

i'm thinking more of the logistics of a european series this year, particularly if the limits on movements and 14 day quarantines stay in force for too long without exceptions.

This is a big problem. Nobody wants to come to the race for a couple of days and then sit at home for 14 days.

Individuals traveling to Italy from June 3 will not be required to self-quarantine upon entry. GT World Challenge Europe and GT European Series have two races in Italy, then Nürburgring in September.

Plus, Germany doesn't have mandatory the 14 day self-quarantine for its nationals, except when you come from a country outside the European Union. So with current confirmed regulations it shouldn't be a big issue for the German teams. Americans and Brits on the other hand......

And if you return from Germany to your country, then you do not have to be in 14 Days quarantine?

for uk citizens we’d need to quarantine returning from anywhere outside the uk and republic of ireland. that’s interesting that germany aren’t doing anything like a quarantine - it seems right up their “cautious” street, especially considering they’ve done a good job containing it.

the reason i asked in the german series thread is that there’s still driver and team announcements when everything has been confirmed and signed (and probably cancelled again ) in the uk for a few months. it felt like maybe these were changes of plan!

HB Racing will run, together with Herberth Motorsport, a Porsche for Alfred Renauer and Sebastian Asch.

Thanks, I've been looking for the info. So it means the end of Luca Ludwig- Sebastian Asch partnership sadly and also loss of a sole Ferrari in the field.
