So no competition for Toyota this year either? Less than one hour and already one minute between them and the other so called hypercars. Sure, the GT racing is usually great, but the top of the field really is lacking something.

I don't disagree the Hypercar field is a few cars light though. |

Ah, that sounds better. I was befuddled by time zones and missed the start and just checked the website, lacking any commentary. I thought I was going to hear RLM talking before the race start... I was hoping for Peugeot to come in and if not fight for wins at least shake things up a bit. But, like I said, I think most of us have learned to look where the GT fights are, right? |

Live timing - I've downloaded the timing71 beta from the chrome web store. Then when you go to the wec timing website, there's a little button to click and open up the detailed timing. Unfortunately it doens't appear you can edit columns, so you get a bunch of data that doesn't frequently change pushing relevant stuff off screen.
Edit: Unless you zoom way out. |

If we keep running like this the Alpine will put a lap on the Toyotas in another couple of hours. |

HOLY DAMN, something had to be stuck there. He was FLYING in to the corner. First incident 100% on him but he needs to slow down with damage
Watching the replays, he has to be let go from the team. That's 100% on him for both the error and them binning the car, UNLESS the throttle stuck. There's no debate about the first incident, that's on him cutting off the Porsche just being impatient. And then FLYING trying to return to the pits Well done TV crew with the road works sign used. |

That hit into the barrier took out his steering. Should have just brought it in slow.

If he didn't realize it's broken after hitting the wall then he needs to be sitting at home on Forza. The bodywork was bouncing CLEARLY and then smoke everywhere so that's on him

Massive increase in smoke though, no excuses there. And yes, he should have been nursing it from the spin to the pits. He only has himself to blame from start to finish. |

I think you are right, the problems seemed to cascade quickly. That being said, he got up to speed right away and maybe should have been told to take it easy on way back to pits?

So it's likely we'll have 3.5-4 hours left of racing when all said and done. How does Alpine run the rest of the race? Same as always and hope they happen to be in front at 8pm?
