Yes, that is a very sexy race car. It reminds me of the Maserati MC12 GT1 car a little bit. |

Yea, if you figure that the P2 will be a bit slower due to running LeMans configuration it's going to be pretty close.

Sorry guys, I just can't help myself... what can the doom-and-gloom "fans" say now that DPs and P2s are running at the same speed? Maybe NASCAR was right this time? |

The new additions to the DP's do help the look of the cars a little. |

Who's in the Horton #73 Porsche? They've just been cruising the last few laps... :/

That DP definitely looks better but there is still something about it that hurts my eyes...

The only issue I have with the DP's now (after the additions for 2014) is the lack of aero on the side pods. While an LMP2 has side pods (the part between the front & rear wheels and to the side of the driver compartment) that actually assist the car, the DP's have cardboard boxes.
The front & rear appearance and aero is great, but the sides have always been my issue (since they got rid of the Gen 1 DP's). The DP's are still tanks compared to LMP cars, and that is not a compliment. |

I prefer the lack of side aero...makes the cars look cleaner.
GTP-era stuff. |

Yes, I know that, hence my use of the words "comparing," and "works for me." Fascinating how you'll find something contrary to say to someone that's agreeing with you.

The DP was a good looking car. Now it's a great looking car. What a sexy beast.
