I know 888 are keen to supply chassis to Ford teams. I wonder how DJR would go with an 888 chassis and their own engines which are already very good.

Beehags just don't cut the mustard. I am sorry mr Beehag.

Poor old Dickie wont be doing too well out of internet based enquiries to his homeloan business. There are "click here" spots which dont click and the amount of info on the site is very poor compared to other lenders. I thought I might give them a go but ..............??

Well, has Steve Johnson signed a new contract to his father's team or not? If not and he decides to leave #17 open, where would he go?

About the only seat available now for Jnr is the 2nd FPR seat one would think.. Only a sideways step from DJR though, but still probably would be a good move for him to show all the knockers wrong..

Not sure if you can read anything into this or not but, just noticed on NATSOFT that the DJR/Tim Monte Aussie racer that is usually entered under DJR/Westpoint, is now entered under DJR/Rhodium Asset solutions. Whatever that is....

Can we see a parlay here... the V8Mortgages business, the Summit Fleet Leasing branding from Mr Denyer, and this asset leasing business with the ACT Government??

Summit is owned by the huge Japanese trading conglomerate Sumitomo..... which is connected to Dunlop amongst other brands.... how probable is it that Summit is the new sponsor, with all of the other financial vehicles advertised falling under the Summit umbrella?

Seems we may have been barking up the wrong tree to some extent with the Rhodium enterprise.... there is a family relationship between the driver of this car, and that organisation.....

So no parlay...

I hope Mr Seton can grab this sponsorship and place it somewhere competitive for 2006!!! An HRT Commodore perhaps?

Or will we go back to the future and suggest Tasman?

So there are how many still unconfirmed seats for 2006? I make it around 9, possibly 11. A couple of these will probably be filled by the widely rumoured drivers but there is still about 5 that may not be, and possibly 6 or 7. This includes one team that has supposedly named it's 2006 drivers but come kick off time will they be there. A couple of late namings have had team managers and proposed team owners ringing some drivers to see if they may be available and then there are two drivers that i know of ringing team owners seeing if they can get a seat (one supposedly has a seat next year and one doesn't). There is still a bit more to come yet.
