Meanwhile, http://www.emotionautoprestige.com/i...?topic=13361.0 bit of a surprise, a collaboration between Pescarolo and Luxury Racing. Let's see how that turns out...

Basic PR stuff about both teams, and apparently they will run as a single entity that will be running up to 4 cars this year, 2 GT Ferraris and one or two LMP1 cars. So by that I would think that the two banners will continue to exist, but there will be a single big engineering and racing team under two designations.

Naw, Spirit of Daytona (Vette-team and something of a ahem... 'France-family-favorite') are the one's that are providing support for AF Corse.

Correct MSR and Brumos were testing on the south course.

Fair enough, but seeing is believing. Let's hope their "assurance" means something.

They'll have a great test in less than a week.

The AER MZR-R was reliable in racing action last year. There were some issues in practice, but those may have been preventative issues. My feeling is that the engines have been (at least in 2011) detuned quite significantly as compared to the HPDs and stuff in order for them to go the distance. In return, they receive BoP that helps them make up some/most/all of the difference. I think that is shameful and the ACO may not be so generous at Le Mans, but it is what it is.

I think there is probably a pretty good chance they are supporting one of the WEC efforts.

Surprised no one has said anything about the interview with Strakka's drivers. http://www.lemans.org/en/races/fia-w...get-_6403.html here's a nice quote

Last year, the ARX-01e finished second in front of the 4 factory diesels. So a podium finish for one of the three ARX-03a teams is definitely realistic. However, I think that Muscle Milk are better prepared than Strakka because they have tested on Sebring. On paper Nick Leventis is the weakest of the 9 HPD drivers.

I agree. I think Strakka will do well though. JRM and M-Milk probably will do better IMO, so I agree. M-Milk was around 2 seconds faster than last year's car with no testing done previously. Pretty good. I think they'll be a dark horse this race.

From the side the Muscle Milk livery looks kind of strange, it's like the front fenders are working with a totally different livery than the rest of the side.

Good point, no one's ever entered a half-baked entry into Le Mans before that's struggled to even make it an hour. Especially a team with a stellar track record of reliability like Dyson.

Cars are on track and the ALMS Timing and Scoring is up and running. There have been updates to the T&S system over the winter, there is some new info on there now. If the reliability holds, this looks like a good upgrade.

At first glance, I think it is dreadful; old one was more compact and easier to read for me.

Like you, I am just hoping for good reliability.
