This is a smart looking car looks like the rear gaurd is available .
Apparently the team were reasonably happy with the first outing yesterday setting times close to Steve Johnsons Jim Beam Ford the Star of the Pre season testing at Willowbank.

Steve did indeed have two very good test days, however my information is that Will Davison, whose car was not ready for the Monday test, was fastest on Friday and for the week, posting a time of 1.10.9. Steve was close behind at 1.11.0. Morris and Bowe were both around the 1.11.5 mark.

Why does Mr Marshall's business sponsor a Commodore team in Dandenong that doesnt include his son.. who had a gig last year but has to go chequebook in hand to go Porsche racing instead?

In the end Mr Coulthard has to make the most of the opportunity as presented... regardless of external factors

that is straight up the worst effort we have seen in years .. since, well nothing really comes to mind. "We'll paint it white... then do the bonnet in black ... then ...... just slap whatever stickers we have on the thing. The company (Dad's) that produces that ahem ... "wine" will pay either way.

As for the MM comments - at least the importance of actually trying to get some results has been recognized and the team has not been lumbered with the additional hurdle of the sponsors son keeping the Recaro warm...

JDI, can you put a name on Coulthards backers?

What is their involvement at Tasman - equity?

INHO I would of thought that it is none of your business [Just Do It!] has it ever entered your mind that he could even be getting paid to drive as well.

It would seem that Mr Coulthard is being groomed to replace Paul Morris and is in a paid position of employment.

That's for the PM Mr Anonymous. Nice to clear that up. I have no grudge against Fabian whatsoever, it just seemed odd that he wasn't released by PMM to take up a contract at TKR.

It's a very good career path with him that has lead to a guaranteed seat and stability

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
PMM tested on Friday with two different colour wheels white & orange and me personally think that the orange wheels stood out and looked better on the car.
Sorry I did try to supply pictures but could not get them to work

Apparently throughout the day there were also a set of silver 5-spokes (like the launch VZ), and a set of white multi-spoke turbines on the car during the day as well.

IMHO, from the photos i've seen, the orange is the best of the 4 types
