One last attempt to appease AA. Then Goodbye.

There are basically three views here;
1 It was Kimi's fault.
2. It was Liuzzi's fault.
3. It was a racing accident.

If you subscribe to 1 it does not automatically make you anti Kimi.
If you prefer 2 it does not neccesarily make you anti Tonio or pro Kimi.
3 would suggest that you are either a fan of neither or simply objective.

I personally say that Kimi should have avoided hitting the Red Bull, no matter what Liuzzi did. This does not mean I am anti Kimi it is just my opinion.

My (light hearted) reference to Kimsters was meant for any die hard fans who could not or would not see fault in their hero. Perhaps there aren't any, if so why should anyone take umbrage? If there are such people my point is made.

Goodbye Formula 1.

Without getting involved in the issue of which driver anyone supports, I just don't understand the above statement, Bob. Kimi was not to know that Liuzzi was going to lift, certainly not to the extent that he did, and he would have been close in order to pass, anyway. We cannot compare, as I believe one poster did, with a road situation; racing cars run in close proximity anyway (except on long straights where aerodynamics intervene) and the timescales to react to a changed circumstance are miniscule. Suppose that Liuzzi hadn't lifted but instead his car had suffered some mechanical failure that had the same effect. Would it still have been Kimi's fault because he had failed to account for a potential failure in Liuzzi's car at that point? I'd prefer to go for your option 3 and I am a trifle perplexed that you haven't done the same bearing in mind that you have described it as 'simply objective'!

I suspect Kimi had been advised by the Team that DLR was closing and to yield. Unfortunately, he checked his mirrors at the same time the STR slowed/yielded with dramatic results.
