Another great lap from Rowbo, he’s really showing he’s worth his place. Especially with team mate Flash down in 14th
Also good to see Hill and Cook up there. Should be a great race tomorrow |

Cammish announced his departure, Neal announced his hiatus.
Then Shedden signed, followed by Rowbottom. Who replaced who is a bit of a moot point, but if it is important for internet points - Shedden is driving the car Neal previously used in 2020. |

I think of Shedden as a replacement for Cammish, and Rowbottom for Neal, but it doesn't really make a difference. The point is that Rowbottom is doing a fine job for Team Dynamics, and is far and away exceeding expectations. Good stuff also from Hill, Cook, Butcher and Oliphant, and impressive from Dan Lloyd to go eighth fastest. Shedden appeared to have some problems in qualifying, so the fourteenth place grid slot is not representative of his pace.

Sutton is able to do things that no one else in the field can do. He just drives through the field race after race. Even with the weight onboard, impressive stuff.

at this rate Lord Gow wil be very angry cos Sutton will have such a big gap heading to the final that it will be anti climatic
also don't understand why WSR doesn't try to replicate this ultra soft setup from the Infiniti cos it works in every conditions / weight/ tires/ weather |

Needs a fair bit of time to work out all the other associated setup changes that are needed by radically altering the spring rates. Not the sort of thing I would want to attempt in mid-season unless the season was a complete write off anyway. |

You need to understand the compression, rebound, damping rates etc. plus diff settings, camber/caster, driver style and many other factors before getting it to work as a set up. Even then, we have no way of knowing if it would work on the BMW. The entire car may be designed around a different philosophy, and running Ash's exact settings on the BMW may make the car slower. Who knows - perhaps they have tried to replicate it in testing, and have proven that it doesn't work for them? |

well nothing seems to work for them now when having weight , the whole season it looks like they are incapable of moving fowards in a race even with low/no weight

Good win for Cookie, he always looks great here, same with Hill. Sutton looking good. Tough race for Tingram and Turkington
Big crash from Zak in F4, be interesting to see if Abbie made a mistake or was pushed |

I'm not sure why they needed a safety car for Jackson's car. With so few laps left why not just handle it with yellows till the race end?
Shame for Jade, slightest wiggle from Shedden. Nothing anyone could do to avoid that. Some good overtakes throughout the day, Hill in R1 then Ingram's moves in R3. Good days racing |
