Well, that was it for me then.
IMSA doesn't want me to see the race, so I'm off to bed. |

I use their tires on one of my bicycles, so the sports car community is covered. Someone else needs to buy Michelins in the off-season to convince them to do it again next year.

No idea what imsa.tv is doing - couldn't get that working on either of the 3 PCs I tried, and in none of the browsers installed (FF, IE, Edge and Chrome) |

Apparently Mazda can do just fine without Joest.

Man that sucks about the imsa.tv issues. It's worked flawlessly for me, even when using a vpn to access the imsa site from London on chrome. I haven't had to try anything else, worked from the beginning.

Good to see a race. but reckless to hold in Florida on a day with over 11k cases.
Hope everyone is safe, |

I know the Mazda drivers quarantined for two weeks in Tristan Nunez's South Florida home. Yes ... many Floridians are refusing to wear masks, many to show they are "Real Americans," who value "freedom," but it is still possible to live in or visit Florida and behave responsibly, and to keep safe and keep others safe. |

Hopefully the teams are in their own bubble. They allowed some spectators, but again hopefully, small enough that there is no issue.

Definitely small enough crowd and spread enough to not change the florida numbers. It's the bars and beaches and family gatherings this evening that's the problem. Florida has always been a lawless place of craziness. I've often thought build a wall across the border to keep them in Florida
Personally hoping the rules can stay in place for Petit and allow a small crowd. My local track and already have my pass so hopefully I'll get to attend, with the usual guys |

Oh knock it off. The death rates are so low and are getting even lower. Most people getting it are younger folks. They'll be ok. Stop the fear mongering. Stop the fear porn. |

Great to see the race go safety car free! I had a feeling it would if the rain stayed away during the event. Porsche, BMW, and Chevy showed to be quite evenly matched and the field always came back together even as at the start Tandy in the #91 was outrunning DPI cars on slicks and we saw the #4 car struggling to stay ahead of the GTD dominating Lexus. R.L.L sure messed up the pit strategy didn't they. On pace they might have had the fastest car slightly.

Got to watch the race this morning, it was pretty entertaining, and just great to see cars on track. Did feel weird seeing the race go into darkness and be over in less than 3 hours. I was expecting another 21!
Really surprised by the pace Chaves had at the beginning. Not a regular to the car/series/track and came in on slicks in the wet conditions. Not bad at all. Also the JDC Mustang Sampling Cadillac with Bordais at the helm really put in a great last stint. |

Only reason I asked is that some drivers expressed grave concerns about what is being done to protect teams compared to other sports. Looks like they were right. Race can't run either if the local hospitals are full. Did any of the "media" report on this or are they not allowed? |
