Obviously the race has yet to be run, but what will Dr. Ulrich complain about now? His R10's are still being out-paced by the P2's despite the 'fair' restrictor settings. Turns out all of his complaining was meaningless. I guess he will start writing letters to the ACO...

Maybe this backs up his argument privateer petrol P1's are simply slow, rather than diesels having an overwhelming advantage?

I tend to think so. Given that the diesel cars are still in the early years of development they are still giving up quite a few trade offs.
