The distance graphic is interesting but ultimately of little use - by the time it's relevant, the cars are close enough to be in the same camera shot.
#4 told that the #3 is faster than it. I think Senna understood that message. |

#5 has a huge amount of brake dust and dirt build-up behind the front wheel. After less than an hour it looks a bit odd. Something to keep an eye on.
Ferrari on Ferrari action in Am. Got a bit dirty. Oof. |

Rain has been called on the TV commentary. So if you are at the circuit remember to put on some more factor 50.

The fun continues with the #6. Puncture, but at least it stayed attached to the vehicle this time. |

OT: Apparently is doesn't really make much difference anything over 30.
It does look like it might rain. There is some nice lappery going on and some fun GT spinnery. |

I want to see the distance between car graphic when cars make contact.
Agreed that graphic doesn't really add much, but it was fun to look at the first time. It might be good for perspective. What is 10 seconds? It's 600m or whatever. |

Norm just trashed the Rebellion pit stall and crew. Some bruised shins.

#8 wiper is not working as intended. That might need fixing.

I think this will clear quick enough that Rebellion won't make up the gap.

Rebellion don't have much choice but to gamble though. Both Toyotas are 15+ seconds slower than the wet-shod LMP2s. |

Toyota finally pit.
Man, they're lucky they're the only factory team. This is ropey. |

It’s a good job Toyota don’t have much competition because their strategy calls leave a lot to be desired year after year

LMP2 currently faster than ALL of the LMP1 grid. What's going on with that.

#6 punts #71 off-track at the entrance to Maggots. Jarvis recovers, Molina out of the car, which has significant damage to the right side.

#6 retains the very muddy wet tyres. Bit of a strange call.
Does the armco need repairs? |

Rebellion on slicks. Cold tyres are gonna be fun on that car.
Edit: Toyota pit a lap later. Brilliant pit strategy... #1 still on wets. On the lead lap but almost a full lap back. |

Toyota can pass LMP1 cars in places where privateer LMP1 cars can't pass GTE cars lol. Awesome hybrid system. It's still incredible.
