Turn 1 is only taken on the oval on the first lap! The chicane that is used on all other laps is very fast. It has caused problems with the F3 cars when they used it, the kerbs caused some of them to fly if they used too uch of them!

Turn 4 however is all the way round the oval and for me it is flat, but not all the time (i.e. any comprimise due to conditions etc...). You can get a fantastic exit from the penultimate corner and go round the outside of someone in turn 4. Very satisfying.

I don't know about Chris, but I'd be interested to here if it is any different in his cars.

Pretty much the same in both my cars, Adam.

The turn 1 chicane is almost flat in the Mini (perhaps a touch of left-foot braking), and I drop down from 5th to 4th gear in the Maestro, but it's almost flat in 4th gear. Hairpins are 2nd for both, and the rest are 3rd, apart from Gracelands (long sweeping infield left hander) which is steady on the throttle in 4th after a quick dab on the brakes.

Turn 4 on the oval is easily flat, although we're probably only doing just over 100mph there.

sounds like it's a lot of fun guys. I imagine your seasons will be coming to an end in the next month or so, so all the best in what racing you have left.

Chris, did you ever figure out why Voggie was overheating from earlier in the summer, clogged arteries, waterpump? Hope it hasn't gotten worse in any case.

cheers
