There were quite a lot of 11 lap stints at test day. With some looking like they weren’t helped by SC or slow zones. It could be on.

If I remember correctly, last year there was already a WEC stream during FP1...that is sad

Eurosport also has other - for them - more important sports to cover ...Snooker and the Vuelta

Most teams are probably only looking for a race setup, I suspect. At the moment.

I'm with you here, they have made qualifying more confusing than in the past. You used to just be able to set a time in any of the qualifying sessions which were hours long, and that would set your place on the grid. Now we have a mix of free practice with a single qualifying practice. The qualifying practice sets times and if you are near the top then you get to go on to the hyper Pole to set those final few positions. At least that is my understanding, I could have it all wrong!

Track seems quicker. That would have been 3rd at test day. Only 0.3s off the Glickenhaus time from that event.

I just keep remembering what Bella was saying about some teams going for times while others were just setting about their programmes.... You'd certainly expect United to be right at the top (of the P2s) though.

This was from last year and I presume it'll be the same, other than between 7 and 8 pm today.

On Wednesday, from 23:15 to 0:00, there will be a 45-minute qualifying session when all entries in the race will take to the track at the same time. At the end of this session, 24 competitors, the six best in each class, will go on to compete in a new “Hyperpole” session the next day when the first six places on the grid will be determined for each class.

Edit: is it #44 Cetilar Ferrari (Fuoco) and #38 JOTA (De Costa? These are listed as still on track on timing and everyone else is back in pits.

GTE Pro is also quicker than the test day. And Ferrari are showing more speed than then.

GTE Am a lot lot quicker. Into the 50s!
