You obviously have some inside info ? Where did you read that Intersport would not be running 2 cars next year , cuz I would be very interested in reading that too ..... source please .

The whole point of this list , is to list confirmed and rumoured ..... and as things become clearer , deduct what wont be there . Its not supposed to be accurate as it is a rumour thread .

Yes it was the OAK, although it was an LMP1 not an LMP2 has he originally said.

Mariantic isn't always exactly accurate. The original posting of this said looking for funding... that always calls into question any future.

There is nothing saying that there will be no Intersport next year, but fill in the blanks when the Intersport Manager, and two Intersport drivers are rumoured to be looking at a new team, if in fact it is a new team, and not simply a new LLC shell.

If it is a rumour thread, then we need Signature Racing LMP2, we need Campbell's Soup Kitchen LMP2 as well, add in Autocon LMP1, Aston Martin Racing LMP1, as they've all been rumoured at one point, as low probability as they might be.

He definitely deserves a full-time ride in the WEC. A Bleekemolen/Premat OAK LMP1 would be right in the mix for best of the rest.

Has there been any news on Alex Job's GTC program for 2012? The team has entered 2 Porsches for the Daytona 24 but I don't know if they are full season entries or not. I hope Alex Job isn't shifting his focus back to Grand-Am.

AJR don't really care where they are racing, as long as someone pays them to run the cars. I hope they are back in the ALMS as well, but I think even last year they ran Daytona. The big enduros are very profitable for the rental ride teams.

Are we sure that Falken are running 2 cars? Or do they just own 2 cars? I thought they had a 2011 spec chassis and a new 2012 spec chassis but weren't racing them both.

I had heard, but no confirmation that they bought 2 2012 cars. They are at Sebring testing... but the picture just had one car.

Indeed, would be great stuff to see Ercic Bachelart's team running in the ALMS. Also an experienced single seater team like Walker Racing... and could he win Lannigan over again and we would see the red and yellow Mi-Jack livery back but this time on an prototype...

Lanigan is a partner with the Rahal Letterman Lanigan team so Lanigan is involved in the ALMS. As far as who would sponsor a Conquest P2 car, I'm guessing a funded driver is involved. Perhaps multiple funded drivers. They may get first crack. Of course, if Lanigan wants to put Mi-Jack on a car, I'm sure it could get done!

Are there any other IRL teams that are interested in the ALMS? We know about the N/H rumor. I believe HVM expressed some interest in a LMPC car last year, but nothing came of that AFAIK.
