Ten place grid penalty applies to the second race only, as the first race is deemed as a qualifying race for the second race.
I think that makes sense. Are you with me? Points split for races: Race One 1st: 3 points 2nd: 2 points 3rd: 1 point Championship Race (Race Two): 1st: 10 points 2nd: 8 points 3rd: 6 points 4th: 5 points 5th: 4 points 6th: 3 points 7th: 2 points 8th: 1 point |

also the Marshals had to repair the barrier and that is another reason why you only saw one qualifying

I wonder if this puts her Le Mans participation in doubt. Although last year we have had a driver driving at near-full capacity after sustaining a broken leg not two weeks before the race...
EDIT: Apparently it's a simple fracture and it doesn't require surgery, so it should probably heal enough until June. |

Getting quite fed up with the Fia/SRO regarding to the corvette's. Either you homoligate them or stop f&*^the scruteneering. The MC-12 was never in complience to the rules and never seem to have troubles with scruteneering and the corvette's always do when being on pole/winning the race or threatning vitaphones (championship)win... |

If they were out of compliance in a race I would understand the penalty for Corvette, but this was decided before the first race! Why not just have them move the ballast? |
