I thought they did mention the top speed, as being 307 or so clicks. Plus the Smiths Tucks decals were quite prevalent in the filming. What was reported was that the ‘V8 Supercar’ being driven was a ‘production car’

Also (OT) did anyone notice the Mad Max Interceptor replica parked outside the Silverton pub?

For the record, the top speed was reported as being 304 km/h.

And the speed / record was set with a Ford motorsport engine did anyone else notice that?? Probably poor editing I would say from the 60 mins crew??
