I thought they did mention the top speed, as being 307 or so clicks. Plus the Smiths Tucks decals were quite prevalent in the filming. What was reported was that the ‘V8 Supercar’ being driven was a ‘production car’

So technically Seton still holds that offical regulation V8 Supercar record of 301Km in a F O R D ! on Conrod that Friday in the EL....
