2. Our OzEmail deal is due for renewal at the end of this year and we have been given no indication that it is not going to continue on - in fact, just the opposite.
3. John Bowe has agreed to drive for our team next year and for a long time into the future.
None of this is anybody's business except the people concerned. Hopefuly this will end some of the more malicious speculation.
Lyris, it seems you have quite a problem with me. I will not get into a debate with you on here about whatever your issues are, but feel free to call me again.
I spoke to GTR about racecars and how they work, drivers and rumours and at no stage did we discuss budgets or sponsors. I would also like to say that I respect the fact that he has done as he said he would.

Well done Brad.
I have not posted on a forum for quite sometime now, but having read your reply i had to post and congratulate you. I think it is fantastic that you could come on here and silence the people that tend to sit back and hammer you for some unknown reason.
Obviously lyris has some issues in her life that is affecting the part of her brain that deals with common courtesy and it's great to see that after all the **** that she has posted about your team and yourself you were able to show her the courtesy that she does not show you or many others.
I hope to be able to steer well clear of her at bathurst, having no idea who she is, i will be hoping the stench of her attitude will let me know.

TheMan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Nice to see another driver come on here and answer questions. We have had a few over the months. Anyway on the other point, I beleive Lyris or anybody else for that matter has the right to like or dislike who they want to. She does not have to like Brad Jones nor should she now. Every team and driver has there supporters and knockers. Maybe though Lyris just a little more respect, after all every sport needs its personalities, whether we like them or not.

Agreed. Whether we like them or not, they DO deserve respect.

Good onya Brad. I think other Teams should take a leaf out of your(and SBR's) book and stop damaging speculation straight away. One very well known team have a habit of threatening legal action every time they read something they don't like, when all they have to do is inform their supporters of the facts.

Absolutly, there is no harm in just telling us whats going on, Brad did it after all. If things are going ahead, they are going ahead, if things are not then the're not, if they're up in the air, they're up in the air, theres no harm in telling us if only to stop wrong or miss leading information circuling round.

Was it not this very reason why forums are set up in the first place? For enthusiests to gather and chat about topics, sometimes some of us may be wrong and can be damaging to teams reputations, so set us straight. It at least rules out possibilites for those us who enjoy figuring out things and reading between lines to figure things out for next season.

All drivers, owners and managers, follow Brad Jones, Simon Wills, Mark Noske as well as others. You might even gather more support here then you would anywhere else, I for one have had hightened respect for several drivers who post on here.

Good on ya Brad and good luck to you and JB.

Yay for you and the team Brad, I never wanted to see any sponsor walk away from the sport.

I just found it interesting that GTR may end up getting the last laugh (given the Info I got recently received about the Ozemail sponsorship).

Why is that, because I don't happen to be a BJR fan????

Like I said before, I don't want ANY sponsor to walk away from the sport, but since the BJR v. GTR thing, I have actually heard from reliable sources that Ozemail is walking away from all sponsorships (not just supercars).

What I wouldn't give to be wrong, becuase the last thing this sport needs is less money about to sponsor the various teams, regardless of the recipient. (especially when football in this country eats so damn much)

I think the point Brad made best was that it is thier business and nobody eleses. I love to hear what is happening befor its announced, but its their business and nobody should speculate on it untill the have made it public. You would be surprised how many of the rumors started on forums get back to sponsors, and this endangours the survival of some teams.

Lyris, the part you don't get is, you hide under a nick name in chat rooms and make wild accusations about people and think it's OK. Then, when you have really f*uked up, you seem to either ring them (going on what I have read ) or write an apology like you have in conrod. I think it's funny you're so bitter and twisted - you really need to get a life. By the way, have you ever been to the car races or had a job or do you spend all your spare time in chat rooms?

Its funny how some people like to actually have an opinion, and for some reason all the rest of the world try not to rebut the opinion but to throw mud at the poster.

I love how its none of our business tho. Thats a new and interesting way to get the fans behind you.

Im not sure what to think of our friend, the scary thing is that not so long ago I WAS EXACTLY THE SAME as her but learnt the lesson very quickly.
Today I posted that I thought after her reply to Bradley Jones that she may have been a bit of a comedian at least I was hoping thats all it was.
Within minutes I get a PM from Lyris "ARE YOU HAVING A GO AT ME OR WHAT ??" I did suggest to her that I thought perhaps she had replied with tongue firmly in cheek. ( although I suspected otherwise).
Tonight I get home from work just now, log in check PMs and find another answer from Lyris but the contents were distressing to me as a BJR fan and I believe If Brad ever saw it he would Sue her and quite rightly so in my opinion.
I wont share it with you , but I cant promise it wont fall into Brads Hands very soon.
I dont like abusing people and particularly not women, or little girls, but Lyris will say Im Glad you are not MY Fiance.

Hmmm, um well, the feeling, ATM, is very much mutual

And Simon,

Until just know, Um where exactly did I post a personal attack against anyone???

I know that I WAS personally attacked by a few people in here, but...... ?????

You know what this is pathetic though, it all started because I dared to post some info I had recieved regarding Ozemails future status as a prospective sponsor. (and I wasn't even the one who brought up the topic of Ozemail/BJR)

Next time I actually dare to give this site info, could someone remind me to edit it back out; (apparently when I post info 'round here all I get is trouble and I'm a little sick of doing this: )
