Looks close and the usual suspects are up at the front. Good performances by Gomez and Munter in 4th and 5th.
Should be a good race although i won't be getting up at 3am to watch it. Damm night races. |

OK I feel like a right dork. Saw the times off live timing before the IRL race and thought Wade had won, didn't realise it was Qual and that the race was post IRL. Still nice points hall for 3rd

Race Result was very similar to the qualifying result....
Surely we're not seeing the same thing we have in F1..... OK. They do pass each other.... |

Congrat's to Lloyds, driver and papa. Great job mates, great job all season long, and Alex deserved that break. I am awaiting contract in IRL now, hopefully in the #33 Target, or if Dan will move up at #10.
What a grear series it is. What a great season it was, after so many years of BS, low grids, low profiled drivers, TG has found a formula to attract it to the drivers and teams. Hopefully we will have the same quality of drivers next year, maybe Perera, some stroneger guys from CCAC?! Keep it going. |

Yes great day for Alex, Sam his wife, Sam Schmidt and his very professional team , his family, all his friends and supporters. Nice to see him win it in style after all the talk of Mutoh ending the season as the hot driver. I hope he now gets the opportunity to show what he can do in a front running Indy car.

I'm as delighted to see Alex win as the next man, but I do have a niggling doubt at the back of my mind in relation to him stepping up to the big league.
Has he had to fight wheel to wheel with people many times this season, because I'm pretty sure he'll have to even if at a top line team next year. I'm not doubting his ability for a second, but I haven't seen any races this year and I've been given the impression from reading results tables and the like that several of his wins were dominant, drive away from the field type affairs, which I don't think he'll get next year and which may not have taught him anything about scrapping with the guy next to you at 200+mph. Anyone see any races and able to comment? |

Exciting race and some superb hard but fair driving from Lloyd and Gomez. Shame the rest couldn't keep it together.
