Ultra conservative get him off those ultras. Not a biggy, but being super safe in case they dropped off a cliff. They didnt and it was unlikely even when I said it, but he was still complaining about them. Small point.

There’s something that’s awkwardly intrusive about shoving a microphone into the drivers’ face after a Grand Prix. Even worse when they are WDC.

I know what you mean. They do the same thing to the winner of the Indy 500, while they are still in the car.

My suspicions were confirmed - Red Bull aren't professional enough to build 2 cars able to finish. Seriously. You don't see Ferrari or Mercedes losing the same car so many times in 1 year. You don't even see the factory Renault team do that (even though it happened today).

Yes but the factory Renault team can’t build a car that’s anywhere near fast enough.

Just listened to the race on the radio. Sounds like an interesting race, now only an hour and a quarter till the highlights.

Great win by Max, but Danny, yet another wasted race after going so well. Since his win in Monaco, it’s been such a waste

Lewis did all he needed to win the title and credit where it’s due, sounds like Seb had a nice attacking, but clean race for once.

I wonder what material they're giving to Ricciardo now he's signed for Renault. Suddenly all the problems are in his car. Poor guy, he was doing a great race.

Congrats to Verstappen, really good job. Vettel had a small contact wheel to wheel with Bottas but apart that his race was okay.

Worst race of the year for Mercedes. Hamilton avoid problems and let pass people. Just a shame because he had a super start but then he had big problems with graining.

Vandoorne 8th and back to points after a long time. That's a news

Maybe because it’s more Max’s team now and with RBR not using Renault engines next season, he would get a better deal at Renault

I would imagine the thought of spending a lot of next season starting at the back of the grid due to engine grid penalties with under-powered and unreliable Hondas would have something to do with it.

On paper, if anyone is capable of closing the gap to the front 3 teams, then it is Renault.

We will have to wait to see whether it is a Hamilton to Mercedes inspired move, or more of an Alonso to McLaren move...

I think that the world wide rule should be you can only wear you cap backward if you are a five time F1 world champion. Or maybe four times, not that Prost would do it.

Aw c'mon, give the guy a break! He'd just stepped out of the car after becoming a 5 times WDC! What I thought was more telling as he gathered his thoughts and started to remember mention his sponsors was when he suddenly remembered and turned his cap around so that the Mercedes three pointed star was facing the camera!
I also feel the need to mention that my (severely lowering) opinion of Seb Vet too a turn in the opposite direction during his post race interview when he said something like) "I don't want to be answering stupid questions like that just now, I need to be going to congratulate Lewis!"
(Mind you, I thought he was going to kiss him too at one stage!)
