He's at it again! In an interwiew with Paul Gover in todays Herald sun, this is what the leader of Camp Red had to say.
"I called Ryan about 2 minutes after I heard James had signed with Ford," Skaife said.

"It's a bit like dating 2 sisters and being dumped by one. Except this time I got the younger, faster, better-looking one," Skaife said.

If that's they way he felt, why didn't he contact Ryan 1st???

Sour grapes anyone?
i think sour grapes, skaife sounds like he is trying to bignote himself again cos he is still sore that jc chose the better deal

Does Mr Skaife still have a say in the management of the now-Walkinshaw controlled team?

Yes, but Bigpond offer a MAX speed of only 1500k, whilst some in Australia are on 24Megabit connections at a cheaper price. And why cant Telstra offer the V8 service at a cost without subsrcibing to their ADSL service? How is that fair trading?

In my opinion the value of the punters calling Tasman, Dodo racing and for certain noticing the big sign down the side is far greater than a small sticker on HRT. If the Tasman deal was seriously cut cost, then you have one ungrateful unflying bird.......

But the Holden dealer network of 300 odd businesses are then exposed to the Dodo brand, they have 300 extra sales outlets for their product potentially, and a customer base of all the people working in these dealerships as well as the car yards themselves.

It kinda makes sense.... if you can reliably measure the numbers

Works in other ways to, HRT models, team wear, sticker/posters, all would sell alot more than Tasman equivalents, and all would feature to Dodo name (perhaps the smaller stickers on the car may be offset by larger writing on the driving suits etc...

It is done and dusted. They looked at ways of incorporating him in their Formula One plans, but couldn't fit him in.

As a plan B they wanted him in Japan to be the star of their Nippon and SGTC efforts. He said he didn't want to, and the only other options are non-Toyota power. As Toyota don't want one of "their" drivers with another company's badge on their racing suit ........... that's it.

Hope HRT has a spare car for Bathurst, he will fence it bigtime at Sandown.. and maybe in practice at Bathurst too.

Poor old Jimmy wont get a ride in his 35millionth start or something

He put it together enough to win 2 championships in Europe from two and two half attempts - one of those agains current F1 drivers Nico Rosberg and Christian Klien.

He put it together enough to be a respected tester at one of the biggest racing teams on Earth.

And I shouldn't say that the Toyota thing is "done and dusted", it is just not at its healthiest at the moment.

And he has written off almost as many IRL chassis as Tomas Scheckter..

Maybe the cars are too fast for him.

That Toyota Orion looks like a VZ Crummydore anyway!

Maybe he pushed too hard in an ill-handling, underpowered car?

Don't know what this has to do with HRT's enduro drivers ...... an Orion is a military aircraft anyway.

I think the Aurion looks classier than either the Falcon or the Commodore ......

An Orion engine is the series of powerplants the Bitsareshytti mob put into my mum's CB Lancer sedan of 15 years' vintage. Nice little jigger it is too

Exactly right.

I don't have BigPond. HOWEVER if they offered a subscription to the content I would pay for it.

I will not use BigPond as they dont have unlimited plans, and it is expensive.
