Theyre not trying. Wurz and Davidson have been in the cars since the start.

Yeah, i mean, its properly fun when marshals are trackside in the dark... No need to take risks in the practice/quali when in the race this would be the code 60.

It seems like electronics glitch rather than mechanical failure.

But in the race the marshalls are somehow more "expendable"? I don't remember red flags being pulled out this easily and everytime there's something. Reds have no almost halved the effective running time, and the painfully long in-laps further reduces the time. Not good for the rookies either. With this rate, ACO is going to be handing over quite a few waivers for drivers.

What's also surprising to me is that he couldn't make it home on electrical power. He would have had 6MJ unless he was just coming out of the pits.

Barrier damage again. Did it take this long to assess the barrier or was there another reason for holding the red flag?

Actually, that Aston does look like it's had a very close shave, as if it's been scraping down the barrier for a while.

The end of the session is actually kind of a lucky break for the #7, Toyota did not lose any track time compared to the competitors.

It really sounded like a glitch as the car just shut off, like a switch was flipped.

I bet that's because it was some sort of a safety cut-off.

According to https://twitter.com/Toyota_Hybrid/st...46736649236480 the #7 car experienced a "loss of engine oil pressure".
