Balance of performance is same as in the national championship. But you can´t compare the laptimes as in the national series other tire compounds are used.

Thanks a lot for explanation!
I like to watch and read about different GT3 champs. It's very interesting to know something new about different countries, cultures, tracks, teams and drivers. It's like a journey every week-end. |

I think it's pretty awesome to see the same teams and cars you can see in your local championships go at it on the European stage.

I mean,it's interesting to watch the progress of favorite teams through all that champs. It's like in old times when 'ecuries' build their cars and visit different events, invite various famous and non-famous but talented drivers. It's not a 'races conveyor'. It's something better.

So does that Full Speed Racing Saleen really have a twin-turbo motor? According to results here it does: http://motorsport.com/news/article.a...3347&FS=FIA-GT
I'm thinking it's probably just a Twin-Turbo model Saleen body, but most likely not the motor. The extra ballest needed to make it equal with the other cars would be crazy haha. |

It does have a naturally aspirated V8 engine. But the homologation model is the Twin Turbo and since last year FIA GT names the cars only by their homologation model designations in the results.

Ahh thanks for the info. How different is the Twin Turbo model vs the previous model, obviously besides the engine?

Having rather enjoyed the coverage of this race, it was a disappointment to see the Setanta channels are off air now.
Any chance the FIA GT races will switch to Motors or Dave or Discovery Parliament Cookery Gold? M. |

One of the Full Speed cars is an early chassis and runs under the original S7's homologation. The newer chassis was homologated later, when the S7 Twin-Turbo was the relevant road car. |
