DaveM should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
It does look beautiful dretceterini. Driven by Skip Hudson in the 1966 USRRC and Can-Am series, and finished up being cut up and buried I believe. A waste of a pretty (but not competitive) car.

Mike d'Udy had a couple of strange intakes on the top of his T70, which was pale green with dark green stripes. This is him at Druids, Brands Hatch in 68.

Here is the Syd Taylor T70, but I'm not sure who was driving that day - don't think it was Hulme, could have been Trevor Taylor? The meeting was the Guards International on 4th September, and this race was a supporting act for the F3s!

DaveM - that is Frank Gardner who won the race in the Sid Taylor T70. Looks like the Surtees T70 (Aston?) on the outside front. Don't know who is in the middle in the B8. Wonder if it's Redman in the Red Rose car?
As I said, have not got the programme for this one. But what a fantastic grid of cars. Great shots as usual.

Something not quite right. The Surtees T70 on the front row is No 107, so that will be Hobbs not Prophet. Here is No 103, which may therefore be Prophet not Hobbs, followed by 111, presumably Sadler.

DaveM keep posting.
Magnificent pics.Paul Hawkins was 1 of my alltime favourite Aussie drivers.
I agree with Andrew Kitson about the fantastic grid of cars. Whoever drove that B8 to get on the front row deserved to be there.
TimD thanks for posting the full entry of the race.

Thanks mickj. The front row Chevron was Craft and the dark coloured one on the second row was Alan Rollinson.

Motor Sport did a feature on Chris Craft in the January issue, and on the contents page there is a colour photo of him and the 107 T70 in this race. The Lola had the dark green nose of the Aston engined cars (sorry I'm not sufficiently up in history to know if this colour was only used for the Aston engined cars) BUT the rest of the car was in Bonniers colours. Thanks for the entry list Tim.

I noticed a list of Divas up there . . .we saw one at Spa last September . . .its like a mini-me E type, but better looking (IMHO) a fantastic little car, Id never seen one before and was amazed how quick it was, I guess only weighing about 450 Kgs helps.

Has anyone got a photo of a car called the Aurora-BMC, which was raced by Trevor and Anita Taylor around 1966-67. It was similiar to the Unipower.
If photo available, could it be posted please.
Thanks

Don't think I've got one Mick. Personally, I'd prefer a photo of Anita - she was a stunner.

Side Bar...

One of the more interesting variations of the Lola T-70GT was the Aston-Martin V-8 powered model that ran at Le Mans (just once I think). When I first moved to New York State, one of the 2 that were built ran here at Watkins Glen during the fall vintage weekend. Neat machine, but I haven't seen it since. There was also a piece on it a few years ago in Motor Sport (or one of the other UK historical morotsports magazines).
