I would have thought the BRSCC would have ensured that the co-ordinators/regional representatives would have passes for a meeting that includes their series (which effectively this does, as NW races counted towards KoK). Not very impressive really...

On the plus side you wouldn't miss any of the action if you were at home.

Mind you, as the hotel is booked, holiday taken from work etc. I might just have a weekend away anyway, I can't miss my annual fix of the M25. I could go shopping at Bluewater - or whatever it is called. I could even park up on Scratchers Lane and 'just listen to the engine noise and tyre squealing'.
As for Regional Representatives, we are probably classed as

Pre'90 was a regional championship and was well supported for several years, we regularly visited Lydden,Cadwell,Anglesey,Snetterton and were the first single seaters to use Croft when it re-opend, as well as Brands, Donnington, Mallory,Oulton & Combe.

What attracted me to the championship was that it gave an opportunity to race at a different circuits each weekend and at its inception proffesional teams were not allowed.

Its disadvantage was when it visited a circuit with its own champonship i.e Mallory, Oulton & Combe the regulars at those circuits blew the national competitors away!

It also required a lot of commitment as long weekends were neccessary for testing and travelling also overnight accomadation or an understang girlfriend who would sleep in the back of a transit!
