This is total CR@P!
Yeah you can just hear it now !
"Yeah and I think it was one of the Kelly brothers in the red and white car followed by Mark , oh hang on! it could be Tander, its really hard to tell from here "

Next year they should have all the Holdens painted in red and the Fords all painted in blue just to save confusion! Its heading that way anyway! Taxis are becoming a joke!

They are allowed to paint their cars however they like, but why did HSV not want their name on the side? That blank rear-quarter panel in particular is a really strange one.

well it would seem HSV aren't the actual major sponsor of this team, just the naming rights. It's all a bit strange... perhaps Holden are the major sponsors. I wonder why the sponsor is under the name of the "HSV dealers" anyway, are they actually footing the bill? in my opinion it's all a bit odd and fishy in my opinion, is it even a real sponsorship at all or just an oppurtunistic branding excuse for the Hsv/holden line with the Kelly racing team as they have to run anyway regardless of sponsorship being a top holden team... so is this is some sort of mock sponsorship ???

the car is a bit blank without all the K-mart related sponsors also ?

Does anyone know if they plan on sticking with this paint scheme through the year or was it just a rush job for this weekend?

According to Crennan in Herald-sun

"its a multi-year deal" joining the teams together for ..umm..marketing purposes.

Christ, it's a paint job, who cares?

The only thing that matters is how it performs on the track.

I think it's a poor effort, attempting to market on the HRT Merchandise machine. I hope that they fall flat on their asses! I just eish Tander was at HRT or somewhere decent.

It's a shame that VIP Petfoods are no longer a sponsor after seeing the HSVDT and Tasman paint jobs, because they are both dog's breakfasts. How disgusting. Deadset, most of the teams these days should have enough people on their payrolls that someone should be capable of doing a doodle with some crayons that looks half decent.

If they don't change their look before I get to a V8 event this year, I promise to throw rotten fruit and veg at them during the pit walk... and if they are unlucky, I'll put some prawn shells underneath the drivers seat

I reckon T8 would have to get the Pal award this year! I think they must have been challeged to fit as much as they possibly could on the car!

If Tom is back in at HRT, and his company is the curent backer of the Kelly Team car, don't you think that was the point?

I found it interesting that when crash bandicoot was interviewed after his DNF, he was wearing a brand new race suit with not a single sponsor's logo in sight. Not even HSV.

yeah , I agree its pretty ordinary...although could be partly to with lack of sponsorship on the car...just looks plain

if they want to run a red/white scheme then they should try some thing like the trucks design...like the image I posted a couple of days ago. or they could have something in black/silver with some red. but almost anything would better distinguish the HSV Dealer team from HRT.

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Is it a case of a RUSHED deal with HSV & no thought from other sponsers.

But these guys have known Kmart was dead from October/November last year... plenty of time to get a decent livery together...or so you would have thought....

There are other sponsors waiting in the wings, and it is more than likely the cars will look very different in Adelaide... or perhaps the round after that...
