You're telling us that Yvan Muller, Rob Huff, Alain Menu and Gabriele Tarquini aren't among the best touring car drivers in the world?

I still want an orange and black Honda however... (or two ) Maybe even a yellow one with an insurance company on the side, blue stripes and a union jack. |

Great news, its a quality team with some very good drivers. It'll be interesting to see what Basseng and Winkelhock can do!

According a Dutch motorsport journalist Nasser Al Attiyah will race in WTCC next season.
I think he means WRC. |

How about Al Attiyah's sponsors funding a Ford Kuga at the Rally Dakar?

Well, he drives WRC rallies with Citroën, who've announced that they're interested in WTCC. For such a new project sponsoring is always helpfull, and of that Al-Attiyah has plenty. Plus they'd definitely score some attention if they entered WTCC with both Rally Champion Loeb and Dakar Champion / Olympic Medallist Al-Attiyah.

Well, buggies can be cool, but it's cooler to have proper manfuacturers (running lookalikes, I know).

http://www.crash.net/world+rally/new...port_deal.html According rumours Al Attiyah will leave Citroen because they didn't want to enter Dakar. Maybe a 3rd Arena Ford? Still I find it hard to believe Al Attiyah will move to WTCC. Has he experience in circuit racing? |

Is there anything he doesn't have experience in?

The reporter asked if it could be Citroen, and Nasser replied: "why not, I have a good relationship with them." |

So they're racing at Marrakech finally? Funny how this event keeps resurrecting every single time, like a cat with 9 lifes.
Not the most popular track I get it, but at least it makes a nice change from your usual Tilkedrome. |

So far....
CONFIRMED Lukoil LADA: Lada Granta WTCC: James Thompson/Alexei Dudukalo Honda Racing Team JAS: Honda Civic S2000 TC: Tiago Monteiro/Gabriele Tarquini Munnich Motorsport: SEAT Leon WTCC: Rene Munnich/Marc Basseng/Markus Winkelhock OAK Racing: Honda Civic S2000 TC: ???/??? PRETTY MUCH CONFIRMED ROAL Motorsport: BMW 320TC: Tom Coronel/??? Zengo Motorsport: BMW 320TC: Norbi Michelisz/???? Bamboo Engineering: Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T: ???/??? Special Tuning Racing: SEAT Leon WTCC: Tom Boardman/??? SEAT Swiss Racing: SEAT Leon WTCC: Fredy Barth RML: Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T: ???/??? UNCONFIRMED BUT PROBABLE Liqui-Moly Team Engstler: BMW 320TC: ???/??? Team Aon: Ford Focus S2000 TC: Tom Chilton/???/???????? Tuenti Racing Team: SEAT Leon WTCC: Pepe Oriola/????????????? Proteam Racing: BMW 320TC: ??? Wiechers-Sport: BMW 320TC: ??? Notes: Proteam: Only 1 car assumed as Tedeschi wrote off the other shell... How can Munnich be running 3 drivers but only have acquired 2 cars (from Lukoil)? RML will probably run a 2 car team with the Chevy, so 2 cars remain. Could be sold? Alex Macdowall has been testing a Ginetta G55 today. Could be leaving WTCC? (would be a shame) |

i hope to see again villa or hernandez in bmw! It seems that muller could choose to take a break the next year and then come back in a dream team with loeb with citroen! Hope that menu and huff will stay in chevy even if in a private team. Any chance to see back rydell and gene in wtcc? Why not in a seat leon!
