Channel 4 adopted it when the BBC stopped showing F1 and the production team moved to Channel 4.

Just a question: why is it OK to hate the halo on visual grounds, but not a logo? Neither actually change the show, just how it looks. Yet hating a logo seems to get you quite harsh comments about how it doesn't matter.

Some people enjoy visual design and presentation.

be careful of putting out excellent ideas like this one, I have a lot of distrust of folks using images without permission and taking ideas from other folks.....
