so predictions for tomorrow. what do you guys think?
going into the weekend i was very confident of the Lechner/Lechner Konrad Saleen would be able to pull it off. Now, im really concerned with their pace. I think it all comes down to that there really hasnt been a dry session.. and the Race will be dry. Konrad has notes from last year to go off of, Maserati doesnt. That makes me feel a little better.. Its going to be a very interesting race, i have faith that both konrad saleens will at least finish. If they both finish, it will show improvment.. Maseratis= it looks like it will be their year, Im just hoping Konrad or someone else can mix it up.. what do you guys think? |

How about this, a Maserati win will every round!
There advantage is not ultimate pace but consitency, including tyre wear. Last edited by JAG; 9 Apr 2005 at 17:08. |

i predict an italian car will win tomorrow, if i'm really going to stick my neck out probably a v12. seriously though the lister is very slow, corvette and lambo both showing some promise, and in gt2 the gruppe m cars are miles ahead of everything, even the mosler is 2 seconds slower than them.

The grid is here... Top six : four Mazzas, two 550. Good job for the Lambo at the 7th place. There's a 2 seconds gap between the pole and the Vette (8th). I'm sad for the Saleens... Nice field of 28 cars for tomorrow... I'd prefer a dry race, though... Last edited by Fab; 9 Apr 2005 at 19:48. |

I guess it shows either the pace of Evolution that a car that won the championship in 2000 could be just half a second faster than the top GT2 (was it GT and NGT in 2000? or the "old" GT2 and GT3??), or Keen and Halliday are REALLY struggling with that Lister?
Lambo at just over a second off pole... I reckon that, given the natural depletion of a field over a race, that they can possibly get that car on the podium? It's my personal outsider bet (sponsored by Ultimate Cock-Ups) that the car might finish in the top 3. Or at least I'd like to see that... Saleens pace is worrying... is it just ACO rules? Weather? I'd say car probs but it's all the Saleens which seem to be suffering... or possibly just a circuit which doesn't suit the car with the 2005 regs? |

Slightly off topic, but is anyone in the UK having problems receiving Motors TV over the past few days? I have been myself and I know that a few others have too if the Motors TV forum is anything to go by, im just wondering how wide spread the problem is.
