Lets hope we don't get snow then! Ian's 90 will be the only thing able to make it round if it does!

If the weather keeps up like this I'll switch to the rev4. we'll be the only cars able to make it up to hilltop.

I've just put the M&S tyres on the Clio. I think I might need them for the trackday if this weather continues! I did a trackday last year with them on. It was screeching all over the place but still handled quite well.

Yes Cadwell is awesome to drive round! I did the first marshals trackday that was held there in a highly modified Fiat Seicento. It was a superb day!

lawnmowerman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
could anyone please tell me if there will be any hot rides on offer at oulton park to marshals not wanting to hurt their poor old bangers?

I had a dream come true a few years ago after being taken around the circuit by Tommy Erdos in an M3, Mike Newton in a Ford Falcon V8 and Ferrari 360.

Just curious who and what will be on circuit so i can arrange time off work.

many thanks to MSVR for being given the chance for us all to do this once again, it is very much apprechiated.

I don't think there will be any hot rides but don't quote me on that. We haven't had any at Oulton or any of the other marshals days for the last couple of years. I can't remember what the issue was but they were stopped for some reason. Stephen Green will probably explain if asked the question. But I'm sure there will be plenty of offers of rides from other marshals who have got their toys out to play!

They were stopped for various reasons, one being that for safety MSV set aside specific times for the hot rides which reduced the amount of track time available to other users. The other reason is that the track days are sometimes shared with MSV customers and are not wholly for marshals use.

Yes - every marshals trackday we have done thus far has been shared with paying MSV customers.

We are going to Snett on 27th - We'll have the passenger seat and harness in the car - so anyone wanting a passenger ride is more than welcome. Just come and find us.

Not needed ta, altho getting the 90 in a bit of a twitch in the water was fun, noticably when tom was in the passenger seat, hanging on for his life.

Finally got Foulsons chicane right on the last lap, the trick was to hit the middle kerb so it threw the back of the Landy round a bit and killed the understeer

I feel for the poor Land Rover, they are not meant to be raced on track,

off road yes and in rallying but at Oulton park you need an evoque!

Massive thanks to MSVR and all Oulton staff for a great Marshals trackday once again - we really appreciate it!
Really enjoyed it even though was very wet
See you on the bank soon
