Payne has really stepped up to the mark.

Really talented guy and absolutely perfect approach this year.

I think guys without as much Supercars experience have been at a relative advantage this year, especially guys with GT experience.

Grove next year is going to be strong.

Really enjoyed watching both races, long time between drinks for Davey Reynolds.

Young Mr Payne, certainly a talent too watch in 2024.

Nice to see Feeney and Payne go head to head next year.

Congratulations on Mr Adderton for having grid girls on the podium for the presentation.

Had Mr Reynolds used a CO2 extinguisher as he wanted, the podium would be asphyxiated…

CO2 isn't safe if it displaces all the air.

Of course it is! It's completely natural, AND it's gluten free!

The F45 instructor on Instagram told me so and I believe anything he says.

vaccines, flouride and gluten = toxins

Himalayan salt, botox, lip fillers = all natural, go for gold. Don't start me on using a tiny needle to put coloured metals under your skin....

No race wins for over five years. First weekend with all the parity updates put on the car. And low and behold, a race win. Good to see the Mustangs on the top step, but just wonder if it's just a little to much? The up coming testing should sort this out one way or the other.

Maybe just stick to the champagne in the future, like all the normal people.

He has shown flashes of speed before, at the GP as one example. He is just incredibly inconsistent.

Mustangs will have more power next year by all accounts.

The off season testing has not been done yet. If they did indeed get more power, I'd think that some of the new aero will get a trim back. Just the fact a guy that hasn't been able to get a race win in over five years suddenly pulls one out of the bag, the same weekend they get all the goodies. Maybe it is a Grove thing. We maybe looking at the new number 1 ford team of the future? Run by a guy who seems to be hard nosed, not there for fun or to play racecar teams. Looks like possibly a team that's here to win. Many very good business men have tried running racecar teams over the years, and not really pulled it off that well. Many can find all the ingredients, but don't know how to bake the cake. Like Richard Harris sings in Macarthur's Park. Roland Dane is a great baker, and could still bake good cake tomorrow if he wanted too, as he knows the recipe. Few do.

No doubting WAU and Grove are the best two Ford teams but this year there was only 1 really good consistent driver between them. Next year they should be strong.

I'm assuming the discrepency will be evident on the transient dyno in the off-season.

What you describe is absolutely impossible. They make get remapping or other configuration, but they will NOT get more power. That is an anathema to the philosophy of the series.

The mustangs were lucky to get both wins, poor qualifying and driver error hampered the camaros.

If the homologation team can't make the car work how is anybody else supposed to?

The biggest parity issue here is DJR's competence.

Parity isn't based on DJR alone, the parity trigger came at Bathurst due to results as specified in the guidelines.

That is all fine. But the parity trigger is met because teams cannot unlock speed from the car that DJR designed. It could never meet minimum weight with DJR parts and they have been back and forth between different aero solutions. I have no doubt Tickford or WAU would have been more on the money. DJR will never again get to their Penske heights, ajd now Tickford likely won't either.
