Forgot to add: you have one thing thought, in England which is more "beautifull" than in any other countries, it's the racing spirit.

how can you think our standards are low - when you come from france!
surely england is a great change from over there!

Strange there are so many English in our ski resorts, cote d'azur, and coming to live in our south and mid west(dordogne, correze).
You love your country, which is good, but more than that you could be a self propaganda master.(not a exemple of objectivity)
I'm from France and that's not the nicest country I've been to. Not sure there is a perfect country for anybody. The fact is that the more you travel the more you open your mind, and I believe the opposit is true to. Maybe you should go out from St Albans a bit, but don't take the M25 mate, or you might end up where you started from!!!

You assume i'm not well travelled - which is wrong because i am reasonably well travelled for my age ....... i never said england was the perfect country and i know it isn't there are a hundred other countries i would rather live in too (france just isn't one of them!)
I think we're going off course to what the original discussion was about!
