Jousse vs Boullion, Bell vs Lietz, Pescarolo vs Rebellion, Ferrari vs Porsche.

One of the best races of the year, yet nobody can see it, go figure.

10mn to go and there's 1 sec between Jousse and Boullion! Awsome race, gutted we can't see that.

I hope at least there will be something on youtube in the next days, since there are cameramen on site...

EDIT: Gap went to 14 sec now...

Yep, Henri turned an almost loss into a sure victory with the early stop and tire change. Jousse has this but GTE is still up for grabs.

Has Kraihamer stopped on his last lap??? Timing screen says he dropped a position and he still hasn't crossed the line, and TDS win in LMP2... and if the car isn't classified, then the Norma is in 3rd place in P2!

May be the last overall victory for Pescarolo Sport for a long time since next year they are headed to the diesel dominated WEC/ILMC along with Rebellion.

And this whole season for Pescarolo has been a fantastic comeback from a year in the doldrums. Very pleased about that.

Allez Pesca!

Congrats to Rebellion Racing for the teams championships and of course Julien Jousse and Collard on their LMP1 driver championships! What a shame about Christophe, wonder what happened, he drove a lot in practice.

Sad truth is there's more interest in PLM testing than Pescarolo's LMS win.

Because the great Audi and Peugeot are there. I doubt anybody cares about *insert generic Lola team here* beating *insert generic Lola team here* in the regular ALMS rounds. Next year if Muscle Milk goes to Grand Am, NOBODY will care about the LMP battles in either series outside of the WEC. Unless people actually care about the P2 battle and Dyson vs Autocon.

Pretty sorry for bringing sad news for the Pesca fans, but they just lost the LMS title by 1 single point i think... Still, they won the pilote's one.

Yep, but Im not sad as Rebellion deserves it as much as anybody else, especially after last year. Personally, the only LMP battle I have actually really enjoyed this year outside of Le Mans (epic Audi v Peugeot) is the ILMC and LMS petrol battles. You could give the title to Peugeot and Dyson from round 1 but Rebellion vs Pescarolo came down to the wire. Not to mention the great petrol battles we see in the ILMC races like at Silverstone or Sebring.

On balance the way the LMS championships split out works for me.

Rebellion and Pescarolo put up fantastic entries and did the series proud - and for it to fall in the way it has done is probably fitting - great entertainment all season long and a nice way for LMP1 in the LMS to bow out.

Hats off to Messrs Pescarolo and Hayden for their efforts - and looking forward to seeing them, in whatever guise, in 2012.

What a popular winner , Pescarolo . Comes back from the brink , with help from Nicolet and takes the championship .

Hope this leads to a massive cash injection and great things to come from them .

Couldnt be happier .

Interview with Pesca after the race:
"It has been a very good season, we didn't win the teams title but we are pleased to lose to Rebellion by only one point. The drivers and the pitstops were fantastic, I'm sad for Christophe Tinseau because I wanted to give him the last stint but the position was so close with Rebellion that the time to change the driver meant it was possible to lose the race, so I'm very sorry for him."

Like so much the first phrase, world of Le Mans always shows me that real sportsmen still exists.

Happy Birthday Monsieur Pescarolo!
