Interesting that. It's used extensivley in Time Management training courses. Tom Peters is the man who promalgated it.

It annoys me the way that Martin and James are so scared of saying that Mercedes have **** engines just because the Stuttgart boys took them round the back of the tyre sheds.

I thought Martin talked quite extensively about the Mercedes engines. Pointing out how they had three failures last weekend and how the car was neither fast or reliable. He obviously used different language to you

Yeah Adam, Martin was really slagging Mercedes off, but Allen was holding back a bit.

There you go, James was holding back a bit probably after Big Ron and Norbert (both looking rather menacing wearing their black leather jackets) invited him pre-race into the McLaren communication centre and "persuaded" him (using gaffer tape and a short length of thick rubber hose) that there is nothing wrong with the Mercedes engines. Martin will probably be next.

Off topic - but Jim Rosenthal was one of the "celebrity" diners on Hell's Kitchen tonight.

Just saw it on another thread and reminded me...

"Dogged". Another word Allen was over-using to murdering point on Sunday.

Re: Rosenthal...I wonder who prepared his meal. Hopefully it was that one that had half Edwina Currie's spoon in.

See, already I've watched too much of that show than I ever wanted to (about 5 mins).

Surely Murray's are far worse:

"That car in front is absolutely unique, except for the one behind which is identical."

"It's ABSOLUTELY POORING down in Monaco, except in the tunnel which is absolutely dry."

"ITS SCHUMACHER!"
"No murray, its Irvine."

"There goes Michael, ahh Herbert, ahh um sorry Eddie Irvine! Eddie Irvine yes!!"

"And now Louis Allen has some news for us in the Pits."

Classic one that.....immortalised on one of my trusty VHS' forever!

He's got a new phrase for this week as well....."old sage". Said it about five times in qualifying and the race.

Truly classic!

I also liked JA bleating on during qualifying that the director would be searching his monitors to find the missing Sauber of Massa.

Nope - there was a shot of the Sauber pulling into the pits while you were waffling on about something else James.

Another James Allen bashingthread! Superb. The world cannot possibly have too many.

The old-sage one he was well into.

Martin is clearly getting more and more irrate with James as times goes on. Quite understndable. Martin could possibly justify his murder on utilitarian grounds.

I will ponder and get back to you with quotes, but for the time being just wanted to show my support for this fine thread.
