It's soccer....I really don't understand the majority of posters here. It's not like it's the Packers for gosh sake!!?

And thanks for that website Mike. I've sometimes tried to do something with those csv files but I have simply ran out of talent. |

I think I might watch the World Cup on my iPad or simply dvr the race I dunno yet.
I wonder how are they going to control the start,as in penalties or aborted starts.if my memory is correct I remember a few aborted starts due to jumping the starts or incorrect formation.are they going to wait for one, two, or three rows to turn onto the straight, since it's such a short straight I can imgagine some one getting jumpy.i don't like to see split starts but I kind of hope gtlm and gtd back off a bit at the start I don't want to see Baltimore happen again. |

This too. The speed trap data gives a somewhat superficial glimpse of how these cars are performing down a straightaway.

Beautiful! Back on topic...weather in Bowmanville looks perfect Friday and Saturday, but Sunday looks a little wet. |

I hate the Packers so that made me smile.
So now we have to argue about BOP in the rain right? who has the advantage? DP or P2? |

Sadly, I suspect that IMSA would red flag the race rather than allowing a GT overall victory.

And imagine the faces at the Continental tire board meeting the next morning - "blasphemy, we were assured to win every race outside Virginia"

I like to throw out previous qualifying times as baselines to compare to. In ALMS history the top P2 times are from Penske in 2009 with a 1:04.3.
More relavent are the times from the past two seasons. 2012: Morgan Nissan 1:08.853 for Plowman 2013: HPD 1:08.785 for Conway Both of those chassis types are still racing this year so lets see how close they can get to those times. Also. Deltawing open topper had 1:10.531 GT pole in 2013 was 1:15.462 for the Viper |

Apparently the Ganassi BoP adjustment is working.

Ganassi has either been very good or very bad this year, there seems to be no middle ground for them.
The three P2 cars are tops so far in practice. |

Timing and Scoring is badly broken---it shows the DWing in fourth ahead of all the DPs.

K. Legge sixth in the session .... Very unsettling. At least the Mazdas are dependably slower than GTLM.

That's kinda meaningless at this point.
The quickest time of the session is over 2 seconds back of last years P2 times. Quote:
