IIRC it was, and the same number came out anyway to put his teammate on pole!

Hey I'm just saying how it looked on TV. It was suspect especially with the jokes about lowering the table. That's all I'm saying. Coincidences happen.

So what happens if it is called off? Enough distance for half points? 4 races at Brands!?

It looked an awful lot like he looked in the hole as he was putting his arm in

time running out

and none of the drivers wants to continue

AFAIK a result cannot be declared because 50% of the race has not been completed

Despite some of the ridiculous comments on X about RWD favouritism, it needs to be safe for all the cars to run.

I have a feeling they may send the cars back out behind the safety car to get to half distance so they can award points if anything does happen.

Well at least it will quell the arguments about the draw. It's backfired on Hill now if he did do it.

No chance they're going to race, they just want to get to half distance to declare a result.

That's why I thought they weren't going to race. Guess they're allowed a certain number of breaches or something.

I believe that at some circuits, a race has to start before a certain time, if it does then it can run for up to 30 mins after the cut-off.

Might be the case at Silverstone.

Could also be worth paying a one off fine compared to commercial loses for cancelling a race.

Zelos loses 2 places for an incident with #12 Huff

Penalty for Jake Hill, although what BTCC have posted and what's on the BARC noticeboard are different
BTCC (and TSL) says Hill drops 1 place for incident with #27 Cammish;
BARC says 2 penalty points for incident with car 12 (Huff)
I think there's a mix-up with the Zelos decision.

Means that Hill and Ingram go into Brands on equal points, and presumably equal hybrid too.

There were two judicials for Hill. The one that got him two points was not giving Huff room at the exit of T5. The one place penalty was for bump and run with Cammish.

Zelos got two place drop for hitting Huff which I think was after Hill had run Huff off.

Hill 365
Ingram 365
Sutton 332 (-33)
Cammish 309 (-56)
Cook 302 (-63)
Turkington 301 (-64)

Hill has wins so in theory leads the championship but that only applies at the end of the year. Hybrid just uses points so they will get the same allocation.

Max score over the weekend is 67 points so theoretically it's a 6-way battle but in reality anything more than a2-way battle is a stretch.
