Apologies for that. It was about 1 sec after a rather hefty smack up the arse by the 'Lively' Toyota and I was still trying to regain some sort of control.
Surprisingly the Rover paint stood up rather better than the VW paint, and the marks came off with petrol. Dents won't polish out of the wings though- looks like two new wings at most (only bolt on) - how are the golfs panels?
Steering still feels straight. List 1A tyres a definite mistake - surprisingly OK(ish) in wet, but got worse as track dried out. Very predictable but just started sliding around and locking up so early.

Anyone that I was talking to in the paddock re Germany and the Ring - If you PM me, I'll dig out some more information + URL's etc.
I've just been through it, and may be able save some hassle and confusion.

Yes thanks
Parts returned by a chap in an elise. ( that was from the 1st attack). Found a place that can do a couple of wings for £40 so not too bad.

Translation was nearly right: I want a donut or smörebröd (with a few deliberate English flaws).
It should be: Jag vilja en bakelsa (doughnut) eller smörebröd.
And no, I do not know how to speak Swedish.

Aha Eric will be well impressed with me now. That's another language as well as French that I've learnt since coming back from Spa.

I think it was the gearbox broke on the banger...

I have to say it was the speediest pack up and clear off that I've ever seen...one minute they were there and the next they were gone!

Have a good winter guys!

Copperbottom has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Who was driving the "DALE" mini? He seemed a bit upset with a certain Seat driver coming round paddock in race one .It (mini) looked bloody quick too.
BTW:Has the box been stripped yet mr Pipe?
