I still remember in 08 ITV4 having to trim their coverage of the tin tops in a couple of meetings due to the Tour de France

The Giulietta on the left is a road car that was stickered up for early publicity at a time the racecar was nothing more than bits and pieces. With many bits and pieces yet to be made.

According to Matt James on FP1 commentary, Laser Tools have big plans that aren't far away from being revealed (something along those lines)

well they were prepping them for TCT/TCR/Stewart Lines Cup but there were no takers, they are RWD so theres still the arguable advantage there, if they are actually developed properly they could be a step up from the merc which lets be honest is at the end of its cycle

I don't think they were ever prepping the cars for TCT, despite what Stewart Lines would have you believe.
The Infinity has never run with RML sub frames, only the original GPRM parts, and arguably never run by a proper team. Think of it as a blank sheet of paper. Whereas with the Merc, they've done everything they can do, there's little or no further improvements to be had. |

Stewart Lines posted a lot of team names as potential entries. That was really just people who might have a car available for the right price. Didn't mean that any or all of them were actively looking to enter.

The post I refer to was by the Moffats themselves, seem to think Aiden was posting pics of them in a workshop saying they were prepping them for TCT asking people to contact them for drives and talking up how competitive they would be, it was not Stewart Lines, tho I accept he did later add this to his wishlist of entries |

Continuity (or same old, same old?) through to 2026:
http://www.btcc.net/2019/07/04/toca-...l-end-of-2026/ (I'm finding it hard to rationalise the fact that will be more than a quarter of the way into the 21st century!) |

Has there been any news on the hybrid tech that is supposed to be coming in at some point in the future?

I don't know of any hybrid road cars with proper manual boxes, they are all full or partial autos. Cue someone about to educate us otherwise...
