A 16 year old with limited racing experience "clearly fits into the category of Bathurst co-driver"!!!! They are kidding even if he is leading the ff championship and has tested a v8.
And the obligatary chick photo. Last edited by sizzle; 28 Jun 2011 at 11:32. |

So, who is our money on for the win? I would think that the producers already know who they want to win, the rest are just there to get some publicity...
Or am I just jaded beyond my years? |

I reckon they have a seat about David Sera size bolted into the car. Although Nick Foster lives not far from me so maybe I should believe in fairness and equity and cheer the local boy! |

David Sera will get it. He is already supported by the team.

Hardly relevant to cutting laps at Bathurst. I was expecting more about how they would have to understand the engineering and physics of car setup. But that would probably be a bit too much for Joe Average to understand. Guess we will see more shots of the women perving on the guys! |

Dear Ch7,
I would like you to return the 30mins of my life I wasted today watching Shannons Supercar showdown. Thanks |

Compromise
I reckon it wasn't too bad for a show aimed more at a mainstream audience... If it was made with the diehard fan in mind it would never have got made as there would be no chance of it rating... Yeah the driving test was lame but we have only seen one episode... Anything that puts motorsport out to more people in a positive light can only be good right? The more people interested the better the ratings, the more dollars existing and new sponsors will hopefully be able to attract...
I think your casual motorsport fan will enjoy it though I reckon the timeslot won't help it... Cheers, Simon |

Was today's episode any better?
It seems to still be more full of hit n giggles more than any serious presentation of comparable driving prowess... So the Renault the show is giving away... Will it be the one that ran over the cones, or nerfed the tall bollards front on, at speed? Somehow it looks like the panels dont all line up straight any more... Advanced driving instructor, visibly quicker than the others... Um.. Isnt stopping part of any gymkhana?? Meantime Mr Cassidy goes home.. |

Mr Sera is looking like a bit of a tool in this show...is that the Kellys plan to hide the fact that he would be their number one pick? My money is on the Pom or Amber.

If it is their strategy and he ends up winning then it'll seem a bit weird picking the 'tool' of the lot . I cant see Amber winning this, there's a better chance of Gold Coast becoming AFL premiers this year haha. Would like to see Jordan win though (or if he doesnt win-get a ride somewhere else to show us what he can do in a V8).
