I think if the Bentley has gone then it will be a shame, let us hope it is just delayed.

Did some digging.
The team running the Aston GT4 of the driver pairing who was meant to be alongside a Bentley GT3 have on there website a picture of a Bentley GT3 so perhaps could still happen. Only time will tell. |

Emailed them and this is what followed on the Bentley.
Yeah we’ve had some delays on shipping with the Bentley program. We will still endeavour to get it out this year at some point in GT Cup. So all being well it shall make an appearance later this year. |

Anyone watch the races? Good entertainment, the traffic is mental, there's talk of a full grid + reserve entries for Brands Hatch.

Yes there is something like 8 reserves for the Brands round. I imagine it being only a couple of weeks before British GT has attracted a large number from that series like this round has. |

Brands Hatch GP Entry List
https://www.gtcup.co.uk/calendar/eve...ounds-5-6-2021 10 GT3 Cars with a total entry of nearly 50 cars. WOW Looks like the grid being so big they are also having cars in the outer paddock aswell. Bonkers. Last edited by Willmaz223; 22 Apr 2021 at 20:35. |

Interesting quite how strong this series has become this year. For some perspective, British GT only has one more GT3 car confirmed for the season so far than GT Cup has running at brands. Add in the Braham, the other GTO's, all those Trofeo Huracans, more GT4 cars than British GT, and finally a good punt of Supercup Ginettas, and you really have something substantial. While British GT I think remains more professional in terms of drivers, teams, presentation, GT Cup has taken a big step closer this year. |

it’s the sheer amount of track time gt cup offers that makes it a winner. costs are lower than bgt because it’s a completely different series but gt cup is all about the am drivers in a good way too.
gp loop test time is hard to come by, hence the high number of big boys turning up. should be fun |

what a brilliant meeting. superb varied grid and an awesome noise. real shame that spectators couldn’t come and witness it.
who saw The Nonsense at the end of race one?? |

That was very unprofessional. I realise the Adrenaline's pumping but there's no excuse for that. It was right that Machitski was excluded from the meeting and given six points on his licence. There was a lot of damage done to my brother's GT-R both at the rear and down the right hand side. Carbon fibre is not cheap to fix!

unfortunately some people don’t have any concept of the actual cost of things like that relative to somebody’s entire season budget, especially when they’re a blank cheque kind of customer.
the clerk of the course got it bang on, and it should send a message that it’s first and foremost a series where people race their cars respectfully and responsibly. it’d be daft to exclude track time motivated guest entries from british gt or wherever but entrants do need to be aware and act accordingly. |

Have to admit watching the live stream of the races i was a little confused as to why Machitski was so angry with the Nissan GTR. If he didn't try and squeeze the Nissan into the pit wall then there was no contact/risk of contact
The contact after the flag was so dumb, im pleased something was done about it. Actually really pleased with driving standards in the field from a fans standpoint. Cant remember any real contentious incidents during the races at Donington & Brands Hatch which is great when you consider the different driver levels & car speeds. |

i believe they're meant to have cameras front and back in the cars so if fielding had done anything out of order it would have been picked up by those and the tv cameras. nothing is worth retaliating after the flag. go and yell in the truck and throw your gloves around there like everyone else manages to.

Bizarre thing to get worked up about, completely bizarre - he didn't even lose the place, and it was a perfectly reasonable attempt to win the drag to the line which was only dicey because he tried to drive Fielding in to the wall. Completely appropriate from the CoC, you can't look past that.

Yes Greem, it's the same GT-R that got hit up the arse at Donington ( racing incident, that one, not malicious like Brands). Thanks for retrieving the piece of diffuser. We'd only just repaired it before the shenanigans at Brands broke it again I think we should have a special one made out of rubber!!

When it's running, the Brabham seems superb - very drivable, looking at it. Even heavily restricted it seems pretty competitive, it would be fascinating to see what it did without any balancing.

This was my first trip to Snetterton for six years - one upside of not being able to take my usual trips to events abroad is more time to re-aquaint myself with UK tracks other than Brands and Silverstone.
It was a fantastic day: great cars, a beautiful and interesting circuit, nice crowd, glorious weather. GT Cup is thriving and delivering wonderful grids. |
