Total 6 cars were manufactured.
But there is no plan to participate in actual racing series. They are planning to make a demo-run all over the world as a promotional activity. |

Just re-read the regulations, the driven wheels can be changed (from FWD to RWD). |

Why Nissan don't have a team in Super Formula? Honda and Lexus clearly have technical advantage using info from their SF engines to build pre-chamber ignition. I'm afraid Nissan with their electro-trend just have no spare resources for R&D in that area and GT500 will have to get some kind of gentleman agreement to use more common parts in engines which is going to make it not so spicy as it is nowadays. |

Looks and sounds great. Definitely has the RC F GT3's V8 in it. No other engine made by Toyota would fit the application and sound like that.

Twitter rumor.
According to the Porsche specialized magazine, 911GT3R MY19 got 45 cars orders in the world and 4 car will come to Japan, but no one car will run at SGT in 2019. https://twitter.com/gt500_nissan/sta...16803952816129 |

Unofficial confirmation that Jensen Button will do SGT next year:
Wont do full season in WEC with SMP due to two clashes with the SGT pre season test and the Fuji 500 https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/...er-gt-clashes/ |

And I agree for keep the LC in GT500 and running this Supra GT Concept (not confusing with GTE concept back then) at somewhere else. GTE, or JAF GT300 maybe? LC just perfect for myself tbh. |

Thats not rear diffuser you see, its the side fenders that are on any gt500/dtm car right now. Car in the pic looks full gt500 spec as we have seen the cars in 2018. From marketing point and the toyota/supra in jgtc/supergt it would make sense to come back. Or even running their cars supra/lc500 or some in EU and some in Japan at some point. |
