We get to see drivers not being pushed to the limit of their equipment because the benchmark has gone?

SO it was OK for Scotty but not SVG
He leaves, Mostert, Waters and Co pop up...Feeny, Kosteki
Does SVG Not deserve another opportunity.

People leave the scene be it retirement or moving overseas and the next wave of drivers come through.

Maybe Gen 3 will level the playing field.

I would love to see him in the WEC Hypercar class.
Couldnt care less about NASCAR. He is better than that.

He deserves the opportunity to show himself on a world scale.

Well, bear in mind the travel restrictions in Australia and New Zealand during Covid were prohibitive to overseas travel and certainly influenced his lack of overseas racing certainly up the end of 2021.

The intensity of RBART and Mr Van Gisbergen is easily comparable to the early 2000’s when Mr Ambrose and SBR took on Mr Skaife and HRT every single week at the highest level.

It only takes 2 cars and 2 teams to make for great racing..

Mr McLaughlin’s departure seems to have neutered the intensity from DJR to some extent, in budget or tech, or engineering or management or something less obvious..

It is difficult to see where any car/team/drivers will step up from..

Gen3 may or may not be the saviour here.

MSR Out of Super2 in 2023



Some stories around this one… with the 2 chassis reappearing with one of the Super3 car owners for his son potentially, and another famous surname.

Not sure if it means the Super3 car owner takes these 2 chassis to exit his involvement at MSR, after news stories of wanting to pull back involved from a management perspective from next year..

GT out at 888 and off to Grove.

Closer to home and a development role also. Not a bid gig.

Was he offered the role at 888 or were they looking at their other options?

Probably came down to $$$. Tander with SVG would probably have gone into next year's enduros as favourite, something that won't happen at Grove. Imagine the world and its wife has put up their hand for the drive, but seems pretty obvious that Lowndes and Whincup will be the co-drivers with no wildcard.

Interesting Friday afternoon in Supercar land.

If SVG and Broc, are in a heated battle for the championship title it could be a bit of headache for the T888 gurus who gets which co-driver.

Or does Mr Stanaway get a gig as SVG’s co-driver?

Mr Tander's son was placed in the Grove Academy for junior karters... so adds to the reasons...

News stories seem to place Mr Tander as svengali and driver coach to Mr Payne in his rookie year
