Provisional pole on your first attempt I'd call stunning.

Last guy to do it was Bargs and he went on to win it 3 years later

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
actually Marcos got pole position at his first Bathurst

Briscoe actually got Provisional pole at sandown (his first v8 attempt) he was not in the top ten in any session at bathurst (Jim managed it in one session)

I stand corrected.

Did Larko also put it on pole in his debut?

EDIT: Nup not even close, I'll shut up now.

Hi I just notice on the entry list most teams have 3 drivers nominated (driver A, B and C). Can a team if it wants to run 3 drivers at Bathurst during the race or is driver C just a replacement in case A or B become unwell? Suzuka 1000 in SuperGT teams can choose to run three drivers and it often works better.

All they have done is listed the second drivers against both cars. A decision must be made Fri afternoon I think.

definately done a good job of the retro style.

to say it looks good would imply i thought the original version looked good, which i didn't

the bonnet looks average

It's actually Thursday afternoon, although changes can be made if there's special circumstances.

yeah my thoughts exactly, i was waiting for it and had myself prepared for it to be ugly but they have done it justice and it looks great. just shows the simple but effective liveries that worked well 20 years ago still work aswell today, infact i prefer it over the messes that seem to be a competition of who can have more fancy lines on their car today.

The new retro HRT does look ok, but the only thing that turns me off it besides the badge is the bonnet.

Love the retro look. Names on the guards are a nice touch. Only wish had the number back on the doors, still had plenty of room for it.

That retro livery looks fantastic-well except for the bonnet, Red Rooster should've been in black, would've looked better. Shame it wont be kept (assuming) for the rest of the season.

Why would you have Red Rooster in Black?

Love the new livery, moreso because i loved the original one on the walky.

Shame for HRT, they should have realised by now that one off liveries don't get them any results.

7 mate are showing a bathurst marathon from 12.30am sunday morning to 5am with extended highlights from bathurst of 79, 77, 75 and 92.

Will not miss this.

They may not win, but I reckon Ricciardello and Douglas are on track for a top 10. Tony is a great bloke, Basil is always good to talk to.. so proud of his boy

If only Kelly Bros would given these guys a Kelly Racing chassis

Les Small is no dope, he was looking after Tony part of the year, then he left, and the car is no quicker. Coincidence?

Basil would prepare a car better than the one given to Tony.

Where to in 2011 for Tony because this is Britek Barge stuff, & there were no winners from that version of tail end Charlie.

AND, rain forecast for Sunday, lead uo days fine.
