What a mess of a race.
Lewis being as moronic as Seb is hot headed. |

Punish them both, there is no need for thing like that.
(I really hope they don't just punish one of 'em) |

Except Lewis didn't brake, Vettel was driving up his backside trying to get the jump and was caught out by Lewis backing the pack up. Moronic behaviour from Seb.

er, unless i blinked at the wrong time the onscreen data showed that hamilton didn't brake and he was at constant rpm?
vettel needs to be punished for retaliating, and quite severely too. that isn't acceptable in the slightest and if they allow it to be seen as acceptable then it's setting a terrible example. |

Given the attrition... Alonso for the win?

Shame people have a downer on this circuit. It's totally different to everything else, it's picturesque, and - best of all - it's an unforgiving circuit with unique challenges.

This race is more fun to watch than I thought it would be.

This is what happens when you throw a genuinely challenging circuit at drivers who have grown up racing on Tilkedrome car parks.
Just treat the venue with the same respect as Monaco, and we'll be fine. |

Surprised Vettel has come out ahead of Hamilton. This race is fun, but has to be said, the standards are a bit poor. It's fun to watch, but I watched a British GT race earlier today that had less incidents with amateur drivers. Track isn't as bad as some say tbh. Edit: Sauber and McLaren might get points today. But as I edit this, the saubers driver into each other. |

Bottas in 3rd and I initially thought it was game over after that coming together with Kimi.

How that didn't turn into an ugly scene is pure luck |

I know Stroll has inherited this position through others issues, and that Massa was ahead of him before he retired, but this is a massive step up for Stroll today.

A lot of drivers will need a good hard look in the mirror after this one.

Williams to Stroll - "we need green sectors every lap."
Not how I'd manage this one. Turn the radio off, don't let him know where the others are, and let him drive. He's not been coping well with pressure so far, so why potentially knock his confidence by adding more? |

Stroll has actually been impressive this weekend, maybe he's finally sorted himself out.

DRS deciding the podium. How very modern F1, lol.
Good race, mostly through some pretty poor driving, but entertaining none-the-less. I don't really see the problem with this track either. |

Congrats to Ricciardo. A superb second place for Bottas, after having to pit due to contact with Kimi at the start of the race and an excellent drive from Stroll to get his first podium.
